each to his own... I just don't think it looks that great that a forum dedicated to BWFC can't spell the names of BWFC players...

it looks a bit like manU fans not knowing where manchester is on a map...

still - as long as none of us gets a job in the club shop shirt department, we might get away with it...

Sometimes they managed to get in such a pickle trying to spell "Ricardo"that it came out as "Anthony".

May I offer my sincere apologies for getting Andy Kellett's name wrong, I don't know how it happened and I have no excuse for it. As a retired teacher with 40 years of teaching thankfully behind me, I have given myself a detention and written out his name 100 times !

I don't intend to be pedantic! But are you sure it's(written)and not (wrote)?
I have no idea either way but thought I'd just check. :hang:

The context is "I have ..... written", which is correct - "I have ..... wrote" would be wrong. Of course either 'I have written' or 'I wrote' would both be acceptable in a different context.

That is a reference to my old "name" on here which was Sir Nat, this was frequently confused with and idiot who posted under the name of Sir NUT. I requested a name change some time ago and the confusion then thankfully ended :D

I think DSB might be referring to the double "s" you had put in "confussion"...
