Obviously, the entire team needs to run around like headless chickens chasing the ball, leaving massive gaps in the spaces where they should be. It's simple if you think about it.

Simple being the operative word...

Great plan that apart from something that is pretty obvious which you have missed out. The ball. Sometimes we have it, when we don't we have to defend and concentrate better. Simple really.

I thought there were 2 teams playing. I'd say majority of teams only defending a 1 goal lead will come under pressure for last 5 /10 mins. Whether its the team in front sitting back or the team chasing simply lumping the ball in there and committing players is a moot point. Only way to counter it is to retain possession. Not many teams can do that for prolonged period. 30 secs is about our max at moment. Think all these late goals are just part of the overall hex we have on us at the mo - injuries late goals. Luckily we don't have the one that usually goes with those relegation spot (at least at the moment)

This late goals thing is as much about putting games to bed when we have the chance as it is anything else . Sounds like cravies may start with alf tomorrow and the plan will be to get right at em early to kill any idea of a new manager bounce . Millwall are pretty dire no matter who is in charge . They've picked up points occasionally away by parking the bus but they may not do that tomorrow . They need to do more than nick points . I'm predicting an entertaining 3 0 rout in the first half and a disappointing 2nd half with no nasty late surprises .

Indeed a return to the positive vibes of lennon's early days . Cravies has been a big loss. May have been a bigger factor in the run than people realised.misses chances but energy movement and presence are vital . No coincidence that without pratley and Davies around the pressing game went to pot .

Lennon suggesting that we may see rochinha and slavchev feature in the next few games . Seems unlikely today as amos McCarthy bannan janko and alf are all likely to start . The only changes look like bannan in for coke and cravies for Heskey . He could risk starting trotter ahead of danns but that seems like a gamble too far to me .
Trotter may well feature at some point though and you'd hope he'd be up for it against his former club.
I can't see how rochinha and slavchev can be involved until bogdan is back and if McCarthy continues to perform well there will only be one loan slot available .it does sound like he's looking at picking two different types of team , one for home and one away . Quite possible that Heskey, cravies and coke will be in that away line up.if rochinha is involved at all it seems more likely to be at home and slavchev, who on the minimal information available looks a more physical player could involved away .
Can't see twardzik getting much game time until next preseason . Lennon may well be targeting three wins against pool , millwall and Wigan after which lineups may become pretty experimental in order to assess things with a view to next season . Could be interesting and messy assuming we do get those three wins .
The phrase "going forward" is becoming prevalent in interviews so let's get those three wins so we really can start working toward the next season .
