Not many to go til he has 100 appearances for us. Will be special when he finally gets his first goal. I hope he does eventually score...

We would be ripped to shreds by anybody with a single midfielder over 5 foot 5.

we only have bannan til the end of may
we only have rochinha til the end of june
mavis will be injured during game no. 3
which would leave clough on his own - who also isn't THAT great with staying injury-free...

Don't we have a option to sign Rochinha in the summer? Thought I'd read that somewhere!

Perhaps they'll let us borrow him for a year . Toughen him up a bit , we could look after him for them. I'm sure he wouldn't get injured .

why? would they be expected to win headers in the centre of the park?

I think rob hall has failed to impress and will be on his way out.

iirc - he's on a 3yr contract that ends in the summer of 2016...

so we'd have to find a buyer... (not impossible - but not a big money-spinner!)

Lennon has mentioned him in the match report, he also wasn't happy the last time he played. Regardless of what he will bring in I don't think he will be part of the plans.

I also have a feeling that Ream could be one of those without the right character.

I'd be surprised and probably a bit disappointed if that were the case. I haven't seen that much of him lately, granted, but I don't think anybody's seen the best of him yet.

That is just a gut feeling, no ITK, knowledge or anything. The thing is I don't think most of the players will really know where they are, preseason could be very interesting.

I can see the logic - and you may well be right - but I don't think shifting hall will be anywhere near the top of Lennon's Summer task-list... if he has to totally rebuild the squad (as many suggest he does) - then shifting Hall won't be a priority.. it might be that if Lennon can't afford many players of real quality, then we end up with a smallish squad - and he might well be happy of the extra (relatively cheap) body to make up the numbers - particularly a body that we "own" and so doesn't count against our loan limit...
