Nice to see Mike's lad get a call up.TonyDomingos wrote:FWIW, this week's losing XI:
#BWFC team to face @HullCity: Amos, Holding, Wheater, Derik, Garratt, Davies, Danns, Pratley, Vela, Heskey, Clough
#BWFC subs: Rachubka, Moxey, Dobbie, Wilson, Woolery, Walker, Newell
That midfield doesn't exactly inspire, though I'm not sure we can assemble one that would.

Vela's knee-knack flared up in the warm-up. Wilson in at RB and it looks like Jamie Thomas joins his mate George Newell on the bench.Little Green Man wrote:Nice to see Mike's lad get a call up.TonyDomingos wrote:FWIW, this week's losing XI:

Vela, Silva, Madine, Clayton ...will we ever manage a first choice squad?

For old times' sake: one last Macron yellow card for a late Mark Davies challenge

I got caught out with the time today and forgot the EARLY kick off. Doesn't sound like I missed much. Any way, a belated...

Watching in an empty pub in Switzerland.
We actually look like we have some shape. When 'Ull have the ball in our half we have a really narrow back four with Derik doing well in front of them and the midfield create a four with Zach dropping in on the left and leaving Bruno as our outlet for a break up top on his own. It means nothing but it's good to see some real shape and organisation.
We'll lose to a late pen or a very late OG...

Axford good for wood right off and away we go again. I'm sure I heard a couple of Bolton players mentioned there as mic man announces 14,300 of a crowd. As ever, more chat, then they get a corner and....Amos has to palm it away for another corner that's cleared. "Garret switched off" claims our man. Anyway, here they come as ever, but the cross is rubbish and we have a goalkick. Hopeful mention of our forward players before to and fro and we have a sally. All ends back with Amos. Davies goes now and it's so exciting the mic men have a chat. Surprisingly, it's raining again. Can we win one, yes we can. Here we go via Pratley and Clough and.......Danns makes the keeper save brilliantly. And....the corner scooped off the line for another corner and......another. And....cleared and....Danns and.....a free kick to them.

Bit of excitement and a shout for the ball crossing the line from the Whites, but ignored. And now, they come at us and....we break and.....Danns and Clough and.....they get a throw off Pratley.. Now they come and....Garret clears. A corner results for them and....Snodgrass and McGuire force a corner off Holding. In it comes and.....cleared off the line by a Whites duo and then Dobbie is announced for Clough?

Clough has been poor this game.
Dobbie is trying his best already to get the lowest pass completion record. Still 0% with that goal! hahaha
Jimmy Phillips.
Tactical genius.

Boos and laughs as a the ref chases and pops a rogue balloon. They sally at us and Garrett concedes a corner. Cleared and some ping and pong before Amos grabs. We have a sniff of a sally and Pratley moves forth but they clear. Now they visit and have a bit of possession and....we clear, then they do the same. El Mohamedi getting a fair amount of mention before we have a Heskey sally. They come at us again and Wheater clears. Here they come again and then we have a bit of excitement before thr ref,,Graham Scott, holds it up as Newell replaces Heskey. George Newell gets early mention and we sally forth. Some possession and no support before.....1-0 DOBBIE.....

A great move, Wilson.... and Dobbie sends us in front. Newell was in there too. Apparently, a great finish by Dobbie..

Ten left and we're still in there. Come on......( 12-30 kick off next week at Fulham)
And....their keeper has it They have a dabble forth and......win a corner. Headed clear by Wheater and results in a throw to us. Wilson and....mic men have a chat about this and that and then they come, cross and Amos has it despite a Snodgrass assault. Pratley, Dobbie, Newwell, Dobbie, Danns and.....it all dies with a throw them. Deryk now, then they have a spurt and we clear again. Throw them again with five to go. They have a passing spree then .......we get it, lose it and..they come again. Snodgrass robbed by Wilson and wins us a free kick.
