Milton Dons will be Keen to tame The Whites. V Milton Keynes away Tues 13th Sept. 7-45.

I just don’t get it.

I see very little in Kachunga. A smart player. But very slow. Rarely looks like scoring. Doesn’t have the pace or physical attributes of others. Nor the threat of Dapo.

I really am a bit lost with why he is being picked. Especially for an away game like this. I get he’s got a better football brain than many we have but if that brain executes like it’s in treacle it seems ineffective.

But maybe I’m missing something. I guess with Charles he could offer the through balls that get him away?

If we don't concede, we get a point. If we don't concede and score, we get three. As John Paradise said in his epic poem Milton Lost: "Awake, arise or be for ever fall'n. ”

Time to awake then.. :oyea: :oyea: :oyea:

Dark skies and rain Illes is reporting. Will Sadlier and Baka both come on as subs? Will Kachunga surprise us all and get a hat-trick......Dick Baron music plays...To be continued..... :Jedi:

If they beat us, they're a point behind us, despite them seemingly having a terrible start

Honestly, I would take a draw here.
Sounds like you're throwing in the towel already. Nothing should suggest that we should be looking at settling for a draw here. We've drawn two and lost one of our away games, its about time we started putting it right.

Anything other than a win would be a disappointment as far as i'm concerned. In order to get promoted we've got to win against teams in the bottom half of the table and away from home.
They're in the bottom half of the table now, but they finished third last year on 89 points, so I don't think we should be expecting a win. If we can take all three points that would be a terrific result, but a point certainly wouldn't be the end of the world in my eyes.
I understand your thinking, but if we can't beat a team when they're going through a bad patch then it would be fair to say we don't deserve to be promoted.

Our away form hasn't been great, so now its the time to correct things.

That MK Dons kit looks dirty already. Scruffy buggers :D

He bloody loves Kachunga doesn’t he
Aye,

Could have had a penalty.

Ref doesn't give it, defender had a hold of his shirt.

Charles has looked like he has none of the wanton confidence of /that/ Shrewsbury goal quite yet.

Let’s not make this a replay of Plymouth. Missing chances and half chances only to mess up in our half.

Then Charles again with a garbage ball to miss Kachunga in front of goal. Leads to Thomason’s deflected effort tipped just over.

Ref giving Kachunga nothing. Another push over, ref puts whistle to his mouth and decides against it.

Dion Charles having a shocker so far. Two really good opportunities to contribute and found wanting. Thankfully he seems the sort to get back into it. Reminding me of Josh Magennis with a miles better work rate.
