I’d have been at this one were it not for my pesky wife being on a hen do today. Soft play with the sprogs it is.
Very difficult game to call, this one. Reading’s results have been mixed, and they’re clearly in a bad mess off the field, but they also seem to have some talented players. Wanderers meanwhile have started the season like title contenders (one aberration aside), but the international break may not have been kind to us.
Without knowing precisely who’s fit, I’d go with the below:
Baxter
Toal Santos Forrester
JDC Thomason Sheehan Williams
Dempsey
Dion Vic
I remain unconvinced that George is currently up to being a regular starter for us, but Morley hasn’t made a particularly strong case for himself recently either. I also think Maghoma may force himself into our best XI sooner rather than later, but Sheehan and Demps are deserving of their places today.

3-0 us needed. Home fixture for them and probably not as much desire to stop us as beat us. Every game is critical if we intend promotion and we need to recuperate the W####n debacle points. Time for Jon-Bod to step up and help Dion. 1-0 nervy, 2-0 fine if we defend well (and that's a must do mark), but three coins in the fountain perfection. We're strong enough in depth, so come on lads...get in there and make your mark. Dempsey to have a star-spangled day.

Matheson is with the squad. Hope that’s because he’s being fast-tracked into being JDC’s tag-teamer… rather than any more worrying development

Hope Maghoma isn't out for long.

Haven’t got my notes to hand (on holibobs abroad) but I suspect this might be partly due to lack of numbers with CMG & Maghoma injured #thinsquad
I can only think of Ashworth who is available (pending as yet unknown injury news) and unselected

Not knowing too much about this Reading side. Anyone we should be worried about?

We've been relatively even against this bunch in the not so recent years.
Drawing 3 of the last five and have a 1-0 away win in this last fixture.
We've had the dreaded 7-1 defeat away at home in 2014 but we've had the 4-3 win in the play off final. I know which one i'd take.
That being said a high scoring game today wouldn't go amiss entertainment wise.
JDB on the scoresheet late on hopefully.
They've got Bindon on their side, is that the brother of Azit?

Get in!!!
What a stupid time to throw tennis balls on the pitch.
They were in the ascendency.
Great finish Dion.

Well, Toal and Santos both on early yellows. You can understand both of those being given as yellow, one for a push and one for dissent. I don't think they were the right calls this early on, as I suspect the ref will get more blatant calls to make. I'd be very surprised if this stays 11 v 11 if thats the marker he's working off.
Lovely finish by Dion, bring a more sombre note down against Reading after their protest to compound their issues.
Should've been a better effort from Vic. Decent breaking against their defence though.
