It’s a league game away. I won’t be complaining about the same team being picked - frankly I think we need to try and have some continuity.
But if there is a need to rest someone to avoid them being injured then I won’t be up in arms about it.
Bottom line for me is that Evatt is now talking more about a slightly different way of playing - whilst accepting it’s not his ideal but is maybe a way of getting points. And that can only be healthy. As he says partly how we played at Crawley was to save our legs and I mean loads have said we need to be more efficient.

Yep - thought we’d cracked it after that game. Tough ground, awful conditions and ground out a result never looking in danger!

McAtee and Collins in for Charles and Adeboyejo; Lolos on the bench

No rotation behind the front two and Inwood dropped off the bench (for Lolos). Guess if any of the back three crumpled we’d just go with JDC at RCB and bring on Williams. Must surely rotate a bit more for Saturday but let’s assume he’s taking the data advice…

This one is supposed to be on Sky Sports +, right? I'm only seeing options for matches in the Championship and the Cowabunga Cup...

Panic averted, it's there now!

Ex-wanderers Mbete and Eaves in contention for Northampton Town tonight.
Nice rotation up top for Bolton tonight, quite like the rotation and keeping forwards fresh.
Saw Rico with headphones on doing his best to drown out the fans on the way into the stadium. Tis a shame, he's drowning out that ever increasing set of fans that are supporting him after he's been through some tough criticism. We all want him to do well.

Smashing from Rico stepping out. And unbelievable from Schon. Topped with a cracking finish.

Conditions like this can help and hinder us. At the minute it looks like it'll be helping with the ball sliding on the grass, give it a bit longer and we'll be in the ball getting stuck territory. Don't imagine it'll get as bad as the Zenit/Plymouth-esque matches, but there's certainly a consideration to be had.
Lovely pass by Santos, lovely pass by Schon and lovely finish by McAtee. Any more of this goalscoring and Insano will be requestioning that price tag.

Marvellous goal. Two passes and bang. Thats the sort of football I want to see. Less slow build up more rapid counter.

Certainly what we've been crying out for.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 7:53 pmMarvellous goal. Two passes and bang. Thats the sort of football I want to see. Less slow build up more rapid counter.
Thought that yellow for McGeehan was harsh. Might just be me but he slid before Sheehan got near it. Intention wasn't to play the man. Conditions aren't helping how it looked mind.

We look a totally different side when we play forwards quickly, totally different. When we try and build slowly we look more likely to concede than score. When we transition quickly we could score a bagful.

Whoever is controlling this camera feed is doing a terrible job. Missing so many elements of the game.
Thomason's putting in a tackle and all we're seeing is the manager.
Can't get away with scissoring tackles these days, even if you get the ball.
