What a goal

Bit slow and static there. That's the wakeup call that its not going to be all smooth sailing.

Poor clearance prior to it that's not helped alleviate the pressure and too slow. Still, plenty of time.

Plenty of early goals going around.

Burton 1-0 already, looks like JDB's having a good impact there. Wrexham and Wycombe both losing. Orient 3-0 up, Barnsley 1-0 up.

JOT is a huge threat out on that right flank.

Definitely good going forward, risky stuff in defence.

Not sure how that was a free kick for either player, Thomason getting penalised.

On other unrelated kit news. Just seen their GK take a goal kick. His shirt looked a few sizes too small.

I wouldn’t be massively keen on Collins coming so deep.

Fair play to Northampton. Crowd is quiet.

Up the tempo lads.

Quite the finish from Hoskins. Offside though well before the shot.

Deep and wide, like the Mississippi.

Maybe the thinking is that their back three only having Vic to mark means we’ve got overloads elsewhere.

But we need to pick it up again.

They look well organised. Big focus on set pieces and long throws will always put us under pressure too
