Not a Leap Year, who says so? Away to Reading , Sat, Feb 1st 3-0'clock.

Schuey:
It's not the easiest thing to do [come in mid-season]. I've spoken to the lads here already, I've met Julian and Andy Taylor today, and I said that it doesn't make any sense for us to come in in with one-day’s preparation and completely rip things up.

What the lads have done over the last few games has been good, the work that has gone on in the early part of this season has got us to the point right now where we're only one point outside the play-off places, so it doesn't make any sense to come in and make drastic changes.

With the team at the moment that are playing with confidence, you've got to build a little bit of momentum, so hopefully we can continue that.

So at the risk of dampening Pru's excitement, I suspect we may stay back-three for tomorrow at least. He may tweak as he sees fit thereafter, with 3 free midweeks in February's 4, not to mention possible new signings.

Ah I'd made my peace it wouldn't be immediate. Would be an insane thing to do off the back of two wins and no training.

What we've really got now is sort of a fresh start. As ever, what others do is also a real factor. A couple of unexpected results in our favour would be nice. El futuro no nuestro par verlos. Que sera, sera.

I'm in. Block R.
'Mon youuuuuu whiiiiiiites.

I wish I could join you, but I'm on a three-line whip to attend a family party.

They've lost three on the bounce, but have a good home record (27 pts from 12 games), so I'd be happy with a point.
Are you sure with our new manager and 100% record, we're not now on HMS Pisstheleague? Asking for a friend...

Haven't you heard? There is no new manager. The board thought they could get another club to pay his wages, but it turns out that's not how it works. Amateurs!
Aged like milk. But tbf at the point you posted this I completely understand the scepticism, gotta give credit where it's due though, Sharon and the board got it done. Hopefully it's onwards and upwards for the final 3rd.

COYWM, let's get into the top 6

18 games to go, of which just 8 are at home. We have to be targeting matches like this to get something out of. I reckon 33ish points will secure a play off place, with some tough games to come. Of the away matches then, we need points from most of those remaining:

Reading
Shrewsbury
Wrexham
Burton
Bristol
Blackpool
Wigan
Barnsley
Lincoln
Peterborough

Toal back in and Murphy starting. I'm surprised to see Schon and Tutu on the bench. ?

Setting up defensively for an away game. They'll probably both go on as subs, if I were to make a prediction.

No Williams again.

I don't see that as particularly defensive with no Morley, 2 up top, and an attacking midfielder.

Cogley is probably more defensive than Tutu, and Murphy more defensive than Schon was my only point. Could be wrong though.

Being solid in defense and playing defensively aren't the same thing. I think he's going for a bit of solidity, AW, like you suggest.

I know thanks, I'm just saying I think I caused confusion with how I phrased it :D

Seeing Randell in the middle looks anything but defensive to me. I personally see Randell as a luxury player.

Reading the better side so far. We're dealing well with it though.
