No first teamers involved for the Bs this afternoon.
Well that makes tonight's team selection a little bit more interesting.

And the key to a result is a good :kettle:

Hoping we can get some good minutes into Kyle. If we want to give McAtee and Collins rests at various points we need some of the other "10"s to step up. CMG and Randall haven't been performing well enough to make that happen, but a fit Dempsey would be a good option. Think he and JOT would be a good combination down the left. Collins seems pretty robust tbf, but just for freshness would be nice to have options. And McAtee has been good but patchy.

All eyes on the XI at 6.45 (well not my eyes, I'll be driving home).

Will Rico make the XI, or the bench?

While I agree re Demps, I'd be slightly surprised if they rushed him back into a start. CMG and Randall - I'm beginning to think they're good counter-attacking weapons when the game gets stretched, but that's not very often and I'm yet to be convinced generally... I wonder if we'll see a third central midfielder tonight with Tomo rolled in to bolster Sheehan & Morley.

No Lolos or Matete. The latter a more surprising absence than the former.

I suppose Murphy could come on and Thommason move into midfield.

Thomason seems to be playing in midfield, perhaps the most forward of the central midfield trio. The question is whether Jones plays RCH or RWB. I prefer him in the latter role as he seems to struggle more when he plays central.

Odd that we've signed those two this season and then brought in a manager who hasn't fancied them at previous clubs. Sounds like the decision has been made by Schuey.

Santos is back on the bench. Nice to see.

It is nice, but we should have been more clinical from those positions.

Jones giving it away. Sheehan backing out of a 50/50, and we concede.

feck sake. Rinse repeat. Piss weak from Geth and Sheehan. Baxter shouldn't be getting beat there either.

FFS Gething fecking Jones. Josh Sheehan with the piss poor attempt at a tackle.

Disgraceful defending.

There's a lot of good in this opening ten minutes. Sad to say they've had a good minute and scored. Typical. 0-1.

It's the same issue though isn't it? You can't be that easy to score against and have any hope.
