This is easy. You tell the football Gods (and an entire Forum) you're not going up. You assuredly tell the world it was to be expected. You convince yourself, you didn't ask for anything at all.
Quietly, just between you and them, you whisper you've been a good person, so maybe they might just see their way to a win.

Hutchinson has gone into the Crawley Town team as an emergency loan.
Helps Crawley potentially put a stop to Leyton Orients bid for the play offs.

I think we have a better than 10-1 shot of going up. Its better to chase than to be the target in a close contest. If we win all 5 I believe that will take us to the play-offs. If so, our form can carry us through right into the Championship. I have not yet shut the door. The way we played on Tuesday, despite not scoring, has strangely made me more confident.

Apparently Barnsley haven't won in 7 games - we all know what happens next with charity Bolton.

This is an interesting one. Someone at Crawley has clearly seen something in Hutch, and I wonder whether they might be looking to assess him as a potential permanent signing?

Etete and Randall don’t make the match day squad…..that was a million quid well spent.
Santos starts. Great to see how he is under a new manager.

Might take a few to adapt. He's had 3 years of roll it out and pass it sideways training. Glad to see the big yin back. Good luck to him. Genuinely feel sorry for the bloke with our dickheads.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:02 pmEtete and Randall don’t make the match day squad…..that was a million quid well spent.

Aye will take time and sounds like he’s off so won’t have time but nice to see him have a chance under Schumacher.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:08 pmMight take a few to adapt. Welcome back Santos!
I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on instead of Forrester. It would've been telling had he picked Murphy over Santos, but I think this is probably the best outcome. Hopefully he's still got it.

They are on the pitch doing some training so not injured. It’s pretty clear they aren’t what we need and Schumacher is no fool.TANGODANCER wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:16 pmNo Joel Randall or Kion Etete in the squad today.--Injuries, personalities or what?
Letting the previous mob sign these two is one of the worst decisions I can remember. Just completely nonsensical. Flushed a million quid plus down the drain for no good reason.

Very interesting indeed to see big Rico back, but unsure if him and Forino are the most natural fits next together in a three. Two big threats from set pieces, in theory.

McAtee's brother scored today so expect him to score at some point.

I'd rather focus on the players who are playing today. At least they can't be scapegoated for what happens.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:52 pmThey are on the pitch doing some training so not injured. Good spot from the referee on the throw in. Credit where its due, overruling the linesman. To our dismay however. Still its easy to give the refs grief, gotta try and get some balance.
JDC looking lively from the off. Always good to see.

Diallo catching the eye early on. Looks a handful.
