Gartsides eulogy brought tears to the eyes. A fantastic tribute, you could tell he meant absolutely every single word. Gordon Taylor fantastic as well.

Even just reading it brings a tear...

Gartside's contribution was so utterly moving.

Just some personal pics. No photographic masterpieces, just mementos of a great Bolton man.

It really was a great way to send our hero off. That scarf tied to the front of the hearse is mine, by the way

I have a nice short video showing Nat leaving the car being carried by the pall bearers to and through the church gates also the crowd in churchgate, if I find somewhere to stick it up I will.

Aye, there was a lot more of that on Moss Bank, Hulton Lane and like venues than the
"beautiful" game. Short passes along the ground through mud just didn't cut it.
Ah well, if you played kick-and-rush on parks pitches then that'll explain how come you'll never have come even remotely close to winning the BEN Cup. You needed a swift passing game, see? :D

This really did make me wet-eyed. Nat's last words to his carer just before he died:

"I've got the ball; it's a bit worn now, bu I've got it" then he died.

Source, today's Bolton News.
