I'd imagine what we need and what we'll get will be two vastly different things.

And so speaks the collective and ingrained sense of BWFC pessimism.Choppers wrote:I'd imagine what we need and what we'll get will be two vastly different things.

Cahill to City with SWP and Boyata coming to us plus cash. Deal to be finalised when Jerome Boateng leaves City in the next week or so.
DEAL DONE.
DEAL DONE.

Have you been talking to LL again?
That doesn't count as ITK now, you know?

Boyata, on loan though.
Haha not been talking to LL. This comes from SWP's mouth. A family member knows him well

Hmm. Not just for the veracity (with all respect fella), but also with not actually getting a centre-back on a permanent deal. Obviously we'll have cash coming in but that will push up the price for other replacements. And I did rather like the idea of getting Onuoha...

Surely SWP would become the most expensive bench warmer in our Clubs' history

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
If that comes off I'd be fairly happy as long as the money part is good enough. Boyata would be a quality addition. If SWP or Lee can go on the left then I'd be very happy with those as our wingers.
It'd perhaps be a shame we couldn't get Onouha in on the deal but if the rumours are true that they value him at 8M and he's already on 50k p/w, it's probably best left alone.

Surely we could have a word with our resident t-shirt design to get something like this put on a black and white shirt?CrazyHorse wrote:Arse on standby, town hall steps swept clean and ready, sir!MJH-12 wrote:Cahill to City with SWP and Boyata coming to us plus cash. Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Also, I don't like the idea that we send out a defender and get a (not needed) right winger on bigger wages as part of the deal. Yes, we get Boyata, but we have to send him back..
I'd prefer to take just Boyata and add a couple of Million on...
