It's a pretty recessed 4-4-2, two holding/defensive mids would imply Coyle's planning on absorbing a lot of pressure and hitting on the break.

knight the only real disappointment in that team for me and would have been shocked if he'd have been dropped

Fully expect Mavis to be brought on in the second half.

Coyle is welded to 4-4-2.

More of a 4-4-1-1 perhaps?

Mavies/Pratley on behind loan striker later on?

Exactly, or bring that pacy striker off the bench, Blake! In fairness I imagine/hope that will be the end of Blakes Premier League career for us, unless we've already secured european qualification and can give him a run out last day of the season!

Would have liked to see either Davies or Pratley start instead of one of the men up top but i'm not overly surprised. Time is going ridiculously slowly at the moment! COYWM!!!!

Eagles and Petrov could play on the oppersite wings as well which gives us the extra option of them turning inside and shooting!

Petrov must've hacked their teamsheet.

The thing is, there are very few options available to Coyle with the team we have at the minute. Muamba will be doing a man-marking job on yon Taraabt, there can be no doubt there. Eaves is injured, Obadeyi probably isn't good enough or ready, so we need attacking options on the bench. You can guarantee that QPR will come out of the blocks all guns blazing, so we need to soak up the early pressure, let them tire themselves out, and then in the second half, stick on Mark Davies instead of Reo-Coker and let him rip 'em to shreds. It's a sound judgement.

Is this a different Petrov everyone is drooling over or the orange-booted flop from the Wembley semi-final?

Either way, let's hope he sticks three past them.

I don't think anyone's drooling, just amazed that QPR have outflopped him. He'll do well to flop more than the bloke marking him today.

In the preseason games is was a very different Petrov, but let's see what happens now that the games count.
