I can barely speak about Saturday without my stomach churning. I can't express how disappointed I am with the whole 90 minutes apart from just 'BoooOOOoOoOoOo'.

We never had the ball and made Wigan look like 4th from bottom rather than rock bottom.

Gary Caldwell in commanding performance sums it all up for me.

Shooting from 40 yards out is never going to be Al Habsi, Wheater's touch of an elephant, Zat being Zat, Eagles and Petrov walking around and giving up once a Latic had gone past 'em the whole thing was a shambles and that's before you start with the two clowns up front.

I am sick to death of hearing 'Player X blasts lacklustre Wanderers' or Coyle saying XYZ about how well we performed.

Having them 'on the rack' for 30 minutes of a home game? is that good enough now? Cheeky bastard should be on his knees begging forgiveness after that.

Ah well, at least we can concentrate on the best cup competition in the world bar-none eh?

Wigan - stick, Blackburn - stick, Bolton-stick, Wolves - twist, QPR - twist - let's see who's right.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Think Blackburn will get out of it tbh.

I think both Blackburn and QPR will get out of it, they both have goalscorers Yakubu has 14 goals for Blackburn, and i'm sure Zamora, Cisse and bloody Helguson will score goals to keep QPR up too.

Any more of that nonsense and you'll be looking at a weeks ban from the site Sonny Jim.
I'm not sorry for the comment as assistant manager/coach I would love to know LSL stats. :P

Whereas on his own, he was a bit of a confused fantasist - a bit like the current incumbent.

Hope you don't mind, or that you consider us to be spamming, but it's been interesting to read your views on Coyle and we've aired some of your comments on our Embattled Manager of the Week feature, right here...

Good luck for the rest of the season. Losing Holden and Lee, and of course Cahill to Chelsea, seems pretty harsh.

All the best,

Looked a pretty fair assessment to me except I get the impression coyle is unsackable and will(probably rightly) get until christmas regardless of what happens this season.

If Coyle is out of contract in the summer (as has been suggested) and if we go down (as is a distinct possibility) then his contract will not be renewed (and will be a cause for celebration).

I take it that being the first quoted recognises that I am, simply, the best.

About bloody time too. :oyea:

I agree that it sounds like he's unsackable this season, but you're talking contract extension next season!? Wowzers.

Love the fact they also cherry-picked Peter Thompson and BWFCi :)

Forgot his contract ends in the summer. It seems to me that he came in with a job of managing a major transition and in a way it seems having faith to the point the chairman has and given the number of contracts coming to an end in the summer xmas would have been a logical point to take it to.If we were still in the prem or looking certs to get back up at that point all fine and dandy. If he takes us down and goes in the summer the last 6 months will make even less sense than they currently do.

To be honest I'm finding it hard to make sense of the point I'm trying to make here but I'm sure there is a point in there somewhere :conf:

Much more choice of new manager in summer than mid-season, as England will find out if they resist the temptation to anoint the tactically agnostic twitcher.
