lets top the back to back wins by smashing blackburn next week.
Hope Mavies isnt too serious, how did Holden do?

The sign of a good team is the ability to win ugly, it looks like we have turned the corner. Just hope the seasons long enough?

Peterborough have 5 away wins this season so it won't be as easy as many predict. They won away at Cardiff aswell.
1-0 Bogdan from a goal kick

On my way home.. GTFI!! Ecstatic with back to back wins! Shame about Mavies, important player for us and you could see the difference when he went off. Any news on his injury?
Re: Can We Beat Pete??
Hardly sounded like a confidence inspiring effort but right now we need wins, anyway we can get them, and that was 3 points. Cheers Tango for the updates.

Re: Can We Beat Pete??
Can't be a Hull game every week, but Mark Davies going off did seem to upset the applecart grand style. Holden sounded right out of things but good to see us persisting with an attacking option. Neither Sordell or N'gog seemed on the mark tonight (I'll be corrected) and thank goodness for Dawson. We did have a couple of near misses but didn't seem to be on the money. A win's a win anyway and those three points are precious.

Ngog seems better off the bench?
Re: Can We Beat Pete??
Take a look at the first 10 minutes of the hull game. Was great. Sounds like he worked his bollocks off again tonight.officer_dibble wrote:Ngog seems better off the bench?

Is that 2 wins on the trot?! Well done! Pleased for you. Play offs might not be totally out of sight after all.

Narr I like Ngog...only question mark for me is his fitness. Was just adding / responding to TD. Wasnt there tonight.

Re: Can We Beat Pete??
Ngog played well. Sordell isn't very good.
Kevin Davies played like a fairy when he came on and watched as the game bypassed him.
We fell apart after Mark Davies went off and we cannot play that system without him as Holden really, really struggled. Understandably so but still.
Need to put an extra man in midfield on Saturday IMO. Craig Davies to lead the charge against his old club.
On the plus side, Knight and Dawson were bloody immense! And a clean sheet. And two wins in a row. Giddy!

Re: Can We Beat Pete??
Thank God Peterborough are a genuinely terrible side. They have some players in the order team who wouldn't look out of place in a pub side.
I hate to be negative, but we need to start playing better. A win is a win but against better sides, playing like that will ensure we lose. Nowhere near enough structure, defensively or in midfield.
Great to see us getting closer to the play off spots.

Don't want to be a killjoy for those who think we still may reach the playoffs but here's the facts:
We'll need around 75 points, that's 30 from the remaining 12 games.
We've been out of the playoff hunt since October/November.

How nice is it to win though, lets just enjoy the three points and tenth place.

Couldn't give a to55 about the play offs, and I dont think we have a chance anyway this year.
Delighted with 3 pts. First 15 minutes was excellent with Ngog superb, but less said about the rest of the match the better. Spearing easily motm but back 4 all played well.
1 happy Wanderer tonight
