yep, best case of naturally occurring rhyming slang I've ever seen.
Never stopped whining, and fair play to the ref, he was having none of it.

Medo MoM for me, looks a brilliant find and better every time I see him. Brilliant first half performance and very professional 2nd half being still clearly the better team despite Wolves improving slightly. Eagles had them on the back foot a lot as well. definitely getting close to his best again after a bad run and a rest. Good man management.
Only disappointment was Sordell, did little and went into sulky teenager mode after being booked stupidly. Don't like him. Bring eaves back.

Medo was man of the match today by some way.

£300K an absolute steal.

2 points off......

Still odds against us, we will need a real turn around in our away form. But did anyone seriously expect us to take it this close 2 months ago?

We look to have organisation and structure that Coyle and his motley crew stripped the club of.

An as Simon Charlton said on the post match phone in, the biggest thing Dougie has done is change the mentality.

Where we were weak now we are strong. Where we were naive now we are cynical.

Oh what a different season this could have been if we'd started it with Lord Dougie.

Still the chance is still very much there...and we have feck all to lose, where others must be nervous as hell!

Agree with most of that apart from last line. Nothing to lose ?? As much as the others have to lose, and why are they more nervous than us ?? Because they've been there all season ? No, all 4 teams will be sh*tting themselves.

It is looking good. I firmly believe we can get into those play-off places, then......
There is the small matter of stopping conceding when playing away which I think must irritate Dougie as much as any supporter but I reckon they are working on it.

I can see what the insane one is getting at. The others will now be looking over their shoulders wondering whether we are now going to just plough through them as we have the momentum.
This manager and team will be very single-minded in pursuit of a play-off place and ignore the rest.

Quality that. Really accomplished performance. Medo was outstanding. As were Knight and Alonso. Great performance. Can't wait for next week.

It wouldn't be right if I didn't have a negative. Craig Davies ain't up to much.

First half hour the best of the season.

Second half less so.

Wolverhamperton very poor.

A change in our away for urgently needed. Four points from the next two should be attainable with good fortune and effort.

Our home run the best since `1995.

At the risk of rudely butting in I'll have a go myself...
AB 8 Faultless when called upon
SR 7 Comfortable, thought he might have got forward more but that's nitpicking
MA 8 Classy and attcking threat too
ZK/CD 8 each for being well on top of their front men
Medo 9 Fantastic touch, awareness of space, composure and distribution
Spearing 8 hard as nails
Chung 7 quiet but OK and I'm a generous mood
Eagles 8 constant thorn in their side
Ngog 6 hard working, easy goal but his composure when finishing is awful
Sordell 5 Rubbish at everything today, negative body language annoys me

C davies 6 better than sordell

Don't worry. Saves me a job.

Disagree about Sordell though. Rubbish is harsh. Thought he did ok considering we won the game so early and there was no pint going through the gears.

Ratings are fair. I'd give Ngog a 7 though, he played well.

Sordell isn't very good IMO in general.

I thought Wolves were shit, but then I've got a niggly thought of "maybe we were just a class apart today". Perhaps we were just on it. I'm not sure they were that bad

Again, we disagree. Quelle suprise.

He looked fine for me today. Ran the channels well and got on the ball enough. Only criticism would be that he didn't look to get behind them often enough. But then, the game was won after 20 minutes, so the best thing he could do, was just receive the ball at feet and play it on, which he did.

Ah, now THESE were the days.

21 man scrap at Burnden & no-one booked. In fact, as far as I'm concerned, Bryan Small, the one person not involved, should have been booked for not joining. Wuss.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
