One way or another, radio or stream, even here, I never miss a game. Today a family visitor arrived at 3-05 and left at 5-0 clock by which time I was a gibbering wreck. Apart from the last few minutes, when I was abominably rude and nipped in the back and watched the stream, I saw only the goal and maybe ten minutes of the whole game. Did I miss a lot?

We played as well as could be expected,on a terrible pitch! We,ll get them back to the Reebok/Macron and Win,they,ll get a decent payday and all will be rosy/shit (delete as applicable). That pitch today could have ended careers so it's understandable the BWFC team were cautious. We,re in the 4th round hat and will be after the replay..

Re: Can we Marc Bolton down for Solid Gold Eastleigh Action?
Dragged myself out of the sick pit to go. Very glad I did. It was fun. Nice to meet thebish, GtE and little miss GtE (and briefly Prufrock).
For some reason Eastleigh didn't feel like proper non-league. A very nondescript ground. Curiously tiny main stand a la Springfield Park. Glad we had cover when it started bazzing it down.
Ref was a nobhead. I made it my purpose to inform him so.
Pitch was a mudheap. Very very difficult to pass the ball on it. Eastleigh looked slightly more used to it but weren't the better team.
Their goal was beautifully finished by Doreen, who got there first and guided it into the corner. As a coach I usually make a point of commiserating rather than criticising players for own goals, because at least the defender was there trying. He's clearly low on confidence, but then so are a lot of our players. The only guy who looked at home was Big Dave.
That said, even as Lennon sat on his hands over substitutions, we didn't fold. The players were struggling but they kept going. Nobody hid.
Ameobi came on for Vela, which promoted boos from precisely the mouth-foamers who had demanded a sub and two up top.
Ameobi did little. Madine did a lot, but it was mostly rubbish. Again, he tried hard, but he appears to repel the ball like it's a magnetic opposite.
Wellington, who gave his shirt to a fan at the end, kept plugging away despite quite possibly wondering what the blazes was going on. For some reason he was told to play off Madine, while Pratley stomped about wide in a 4-2-3-1. You know, I'm beginning to suspect our manager isn't a tactical genius, and he certainly isn't very reactive to events.
Eventually he sent on Woolery, presumably looking straight through Dobbie. Woolery looked fast and thin. His whippet-like chase for a Holding through ball won the corner from which we scored. Huzzah! Huzzah for Pratlistuta!
Lennon got a lot of abuse (and gingerism) when we were losing, but nobody booed him when he came over to applaud and mock-worship the away fans. I guess things might have been different but for Dazzler's timely intervention.
Ifs and buts. We toughed out a game in which we might have collapsed. That's something. The replay will presumably be set for a day after the (first?) court date.

cracking day out - proper cup game!
it was almost (not quite) like the good old days - what with standing on terraces and hammering on the corrugated iron!
nice - as always - to pass the time with DSB, Enfield, Miss Enfield and DSB's 442 colleague Chris... (Pru was in the posh seats!)
the celebration of actually scoring felt like being among a huge crowd of peoplw who had forgotten what it was like for their team to score a goal - and was celebrated as wildly and exhuberantly as I remember a Bolton crowd celebrating anything for a long while...
DSB has summed up the game fairly - he DID make it his business to inform the ref about his inadequacies for a little while during the NOT A FECKING BACK-PASS YOU FECKING SAD DISGRACE FOR A REFEREE incident..
we were shoite - but then, not knowing whether the ball will drag in the mud or shoot over the surface before making a pass - and anticipating the crowd berating you for it either way can't make it any easier!
also - away games remind me of the depths of sheer fan gob-shitery that can be sunk to! always amusing to listen to!

Maybe it was better if you were there....but looking at the highlights we looked like the non league side!! It was a bit cringeworthy for me, but whatever
PS Thought the bloke on the gantry was funny though
That was the highlight, plus the spectator who was on the pitch
