I mean Eddie wanted out and his money. It was disgraceful but he left the building and it was his only exit option.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:14 amNot sure it trumps selling the Club to Deano and Anderson...by about a country mile...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:10 amIf Evatt stays and a coach has been sacked then imo that will be the most disgraceful decision this club has ever made. And it would need to be full pitchforks on Saturday.
I’d be absolutely disgusted in the owners and Evatt. It would signify leadership failures all over. Cowards too.
This would be beyond words.

He’s an absolute disgrace too santos. Absolute disgrace.dave the minion wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:26 amIf true, I wonder how the captaincy impacts Santos? Does he spit his dummy out and it sees the end of him in the team (which I sincerely hope is not the case, as when on form he's a cracking player), or does he see it as a weight off and relaxes back into the player that he was......

Unusual as it is for me to wade in on BWFCi's side, I dunno. Deano/Ken was terrible in retrospect (as, arguably, was overspending under Eddie...) but we had very few options at the time.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:14 amNot sure it trumps selling the Club to Deano and Anderson...by about a country mile...BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:10 amIf Evatt stays and a coach has been sacked then imo that will be the most disgraceful decision this club has ever made. Maybe a rephrase - I think sacking Craddock would be misdirection and dereliction of duty, on a grand scale, and I agree that it would cause a huge backlash.

Worse than selling to a couple of car salesman?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:10 amIf Evatt stays and a coach has been sacked then imo that will be the most disgraceful decision this club has ever made. And it would need to be full pitchforks on Saturday.

I really don't know why you let something as trivial as football wind you up so much for so long.

It would be absolutely horrific for a coach to take the can for Evatts failures and you know it.DJBlu wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:23 amWorse than selling to a couple of car salesman?BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:10 amIf Evatt stays and a coach has been sacked then imo that will be the most disgraceful decision this club has ever made. I'm sure it would cause a huge backlash. It might be pure coinkydence, but we were happily >2 ppg at the point Craddock took perm role. We then managed 1.77 for the rest of the season.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:17 amUnusual as it is for me to wade in on BWFCi's side, I dunno. I guess part of me is saying (also taking into account Ghost's account of his trip yesterday), I think he'll still be in charge Saturday. If you'd already made your mind up he was going after a poor result, then it shouldn't take until mid-day Monday, to clear the air, because you'd already have worked it out in your head as Chairman and once you reach that point, you'd think it would be reasonably quick address it.

Chairman is as culpable as Evatt.

Chairman, is putting money in. Easier to find a new manager than a new Chairman that will continue to put money in.

Sharon is spineless and is selling us down the river for a manager who has done nothing but behaves like he has.
I’m beyond furious at this point. Worst I’ve felt and that includes the disgrace of Anderson.
The club has no leadership. Cowards all over passing the buck. A captain who has been an absolute disgrace but gets to just discharge duties he wasn’t even performing. A manager so bad he will let a coach take the hit for his performances.
I am livid. Genuinely can’t support this. And I’ve never felt like that. Feels like the club isn’t worth it anymore.

She isn't selling anything. In case you missed it, she's investing money. Who do you have lined up for the takeover?

That’s not the point I’m making. The owners can do what they want as ever. Doesn’t mean I have to think it isn’t an absolute disgrace. Which it is. But they own it and can do as they like. If they want to do it in the name of Bolton wanderers then they can. I can’t stop them.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:37 amShe isn't selling anything. Insano, are you having a complete meltdown based upon unsubstantiated rumours?

I really do think we need to wait for a statement before allowing your systolic to bust 150.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:35 amSharon is spineless and is selling us down the river for a manager who has done nothing but behaves like he has.

Take 2 bedsheets. 1 with Evatt out and 1 with sack the board. That will solve all our problems.BWFC_Insane wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:40 amThat’s not the point I’m making. Re: The ianevattable sacking
Also, if true this GT as captain is ridiculous - he may be a strong character, show up for post match interviews and kick a few people, but he's not ready to be a captain in these circumstances.
At the moment he's not even deserving of a starting place IMO, the pressure has got to him - making him captain will just add additional pressure.

Re: The ianevattable sacking
I'd be happy with GT as captain.
I wouldn't be happy with the rest of it.

Burning pitchfork at the ready for Saturday. I don’t want the owners gone I just want them to get a grip.Worthy4England wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 11:44 amTake 2 bedsheets. 1 with Evatt out and 1 with sack the board. Re: The ianevattable sacking
I’d assumed we would have heard of his departure by now. I’m very disappointed we haven’t.
If it’s a sacking of a coach and he is taking the blame… I would be speechless. That would be a spineless decision. And one that would be up there with worst decisions I’ve seen the club make, certainly on the footballing side. Will wait for some confirmation.
