Yeah, their goal was a bit of a fluke whatever the arguments about our defending leading up to it.DJBlu wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 4:05 pmI've not slagged JDC off in our house today so he must be doing something. His energy has matched everybody else.
Matete is extremely confident however he's been caught a couple of times when the pass has been on.
Just seen Reading's goal and I was extremely harsh on Santos. The lad is falling back, toe pokes it with the outside of his foot and it bananas in.

Agreed bwfci
First twenty five (and you can’t keep it up / don’t need to if you go three up) into tackles, get it forward and attack the box

Good to know. Almost had Toal in for the needs a moment bunch, but he also helped with that second goal.

I think the formation change to a simpler one has helped mind

Good stop from Santos that.
It's going to be interesting to see what level of intensity the subs bring onto the pitch.

Back to horrible can't get out. This is going to paper over all the cracks and lead us to going back to everything that didn't work last year.

Pressure is on now
Anything but a clear win from 4-1 up at half time is poor

Looked like three fouls in the build up to that penalty.
Sloppy.

Always a tough ask to get the levels up from the first half.

This is where we miss a proper midfield hard man. We’re being overrun in there. Not sure Dempsey for matete is going to do enough.

Would be interesting to see how this plays out without their fluke first goal. They've got a bit of a spring in their step.
I'd definitely argue for subs. Could do with Collins getting a good performance out there.
We don't have one. Matete looks like the most combative of the two. Dempsey looks a good runner when on form.officer_dibble wrote: ↑Sat Sep 21, 2024 4:23 pmThis is where we miss a proper midfield hard man. We’re being overrun in there. Not sure Dempsey for matete is going to do enough.

I'd be bringing Demps on for Matete.
Arfield on for him.
