Few tweets from the Juke. Makes me sad. He clearly wanted to come here.

@Lukeyjuke: It feels like I've left two clubs today. Thanks you to @Boro for the last two years. I've met some wonderful people in the north east

@Lukeyjuke: And leave with many fond memories. Good luck to Aitor and the lads for the new season. Thank you to Dougie Freedman and all the staff..

@Lukeyjuke: Players and fans at @OfficialBWFC for last season, whilst only being a loan player,
I was made to feel at home straight away and enjoyed..

@Lukeyjuke: My time there as much as I ever have anywhere during my career, I will be forever grateful for that. I wish everyone at Bolton every ...

@Lukeyjuke: Success in the future. I'm excited for this new challenge that has presented itself and I can't wait to get started with my new team mates..

I have actually. I live near the hospital and Harry Wildeman, our local farmer is notorious for his fertiliser stinking the neighbourhood out.
I'd question what it is that he's spreading then.

Well said. It's a fecking game, people. It's not even a very good game - it's one dominated by a few wealthy individuals who buy up all the trophies for their clubs, leaving the rest of us to bask in the vicarious pleasure of having watched our team play against some superstars.

These days I have a hard enough time giving a shit whether the team win or lose, never mind getting upset because some overpaid journeyman striker won't be turning out for them.

Has he just realised this?
He said the same about needing goals last summer. Any manager knows and wants that. It is finding them that is the problem.
Any ten year old kid knows it. It's what football's about. That was the point.
Conceding fewer goals is not to be underestimated. Hull were promoted automatically having scored 8 fewer goals than us. Last season, Brighton finished sixth having scored fewer; and QPR and Wigan also secured play-off spots having scored just 1 and 2 goals respectively more than us. That's not to say scoring isn't important, but it can be overestimated. Personally, I'd have no problem with us 1-0 & 0-0-ing our way out of this division.

If only we'd not sent Marvin off to Charlton, he'd have had expert tuition :)
