No, you couldn't. In January he'll have 6 months left on his deal and will be free to talk to other clubs, and sign a pre-contract with them to join in the summer.hisroyalgingerness wrote:Nope, we could still make £6m in Jan.
This really is your last chance to get some cash for him.

He can't talk to or sign a deal in January with any club in England.ferrarif50hunt wrote:No, you couldn't. How you just cannot take a hint reminds me of someone who used to post here but got banned and went some forum based in South Yorkshire to make a cock of himself...Abs wrote:I still believe he will come to us. Cahill wants to come to us and Im sure he's gonna tell Bolton chairman do one and talk with Arsenal.jaffka wrote:does this mean that you are now going to p*ss off?Abs wrote:oh well he will go to spurs now who will feed you with the sh!t they wanted to get rid off and take him for 6 million + bassong and hutton or some sh!t like that

But I still think this is your last chance to get money for him, I doubt anyone will pay £6m for him half way through the season when they can just wait 6 months and get him for free.
Anyway, I respect the decision of your Chairman/Manager whatever they choose to do. (Although I don't respect them acting like c*nts on Twitter)

Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Depends who they employ as the new manager of Arsenal, unless its ebeneezer scrooge they might fancy a new centre half to help the relegation fight!
Re: Official Gary Cahill transfer thread
Cahill is miles better than Dann, who is a lot better than Wheater, who seems marginally better than Knight, who is wank. Wheater might improve with a run though. The problem with Knight-Wheater isn't that they are both shite (though one is), but that they are both so very similar in their turning-oil-tanker-acceleration-of-a-small-office-block-ness.
Don't think he will be going anywhere though.
And Mertesacker is SHIIIIT.

bravo! it's not as if Wenger ever said that another club's bid for one of his players was derisory or unacceptable or destabilising - is it?ferrarif50hunt wrote:Ahh yes, you're right actually, got mixed up.BWFC_Insane wrote:He can't talk to or sign a deal in January with any club in England.ferrarif50hunt wrote:No, you couldn't. Let's say a champions league team get a couple of injuries. Could see Cahill having a value then as hed still be eligible for them in the champs league then. End of the day he's more valuable to us for half a season than 6M would be!ferrarif50hunt wrote:Ahh yes, you're right actually, got mixed up.BWFC_Insane wrote:He can't talk to or sign a deal in January with any club in England.ferrarif50hunt wrote:No, you couldn't. Koscielny is a good defender though, so I'd be fine with that.Prufrock wrote:He's about as good as Koscielny then...?

Are you Arsene Wenger? You seem to be just as myopic.ferrarif50hunt wrote:Koscielny is a good defender though, so I'd be fine with that.

No. Koscielny is a good defender, you don't keep Lionel Messi quiet for 135 minutes if you aren't.BL3 wrote:Are you Arsene Wenger? You seem to be just as myopic.ferrarif50hunt wrote:Koscielny is a good defender though, so I'd be fine with that.

Koscielny is gash. Mertesacker is gash. Vermaelen is good.

Remember Emerson Thome?ferrarif50hunt wrote:Even though we've now signed Per Mertesacker, we're still expected to put in a final, take it or leave it bid for Gary Cahill tonight or tomorrow morning. If it's not accepted, we will apparently turn our attention to Chelsea's Brazilian CB, Alex.

Unfortunately he's playing in the Premier League rather than La Liga.ferrarif50hunt wrote:No. Koscielny is a good defender, you don't keep Lionel Messi quiet for 135 minutes if you aren't.BL3 wrote:Are you Arsene Wenger?
