Yes he is pretty good but we already have two excellent keepers in Bogdan and Lonergan.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

Excellent? Peter Schmeichel is, IMO, the only 'excellent' goalkeeper I've seen in my lifetime: so far anyway. Are you familiar with him?

Waghorn, for me, was the best player on the park in the goalless game at the bok. Don't know how he was for the rest of the season.

I see that winger at Bristol City (Adomah?) has requested a transfer. Weren't we linked with him before? Just wondered if we've been tapping him up

Not true either.

Nope! He's right.

46 0-0 is obviously 46 points. You'd have gone down last year, but not the year before, where Portsmouth were relegated in 22nd with 40 points. There has been the odd Premiership season where 38 has been enough, too.

Given we're in the Championship, I'm talking about the Championship. In the majority of seasons you get relegated. To be honest I had it in my head it was 42 matches. Whilst 42 matches would make me more right, I'm still correct in my assertion that in the Championship you will generally be relegated if you draw all your 46 matches.

There's been quite a few in the prem when 32/33 would have been in enough (with the benefit of hindsight)

Nope! You said of you don't score any, and you don't concede any, you get relegated. Dan's absolutely right to say that's not true. That means always.

In fact, you'd have stayed up in 2011/2, and 2010/11, and 2008-9. So I'm not sure you can say generally either. Face it, Dan's right :D!

Also, to be a cock about it (:D) 42 would only make you right if only the team drawing 0-0 all the time played 42, and everyone else played 46, AND, you'd still have stayed up in 2011/12.

Furthermore, generally, the more equal the league as a whole is, the more likely all draws will be to get you relegated. Given the Championship is often talked about as the most equal league there is, where anyone can beat anyone, it's the least likely to apply here!

Can't agree there Bruce..

Khan, Buffon, Van der Sar, Seaman (at times), Cech. There's plenty of keepers you could put in the World Class category of footballers in the last decade alone..

2012/13 - relegated in 23rd
2011/12 - finish 21st
2010/11 - finish 21st
2009/10 - relegated in 22nd
2008/09 - finish 21st (safe on gd)
2007/08 - relegated in 22nd
2006/07 - finish 21st
2005/06 - finish 21st
2004/05 - relegated 22nd
2003/04 - relegated 22nd
2002/03 - finish 21st (safe on gd)
2001/02 - relegated 23rd
2000/01 - relegated 22nd
1999/00 - finish 21st (safe on gd)
1998/99 - relegated 22nd
1997/98 - relegated 22nd
1996/97 - finish 21st (safe on gd)
1995/96 - relegated 23rd
1994/95 - relegated 24th - 4 down this season.

Maybe I should have said generally. I need some new readers as I read some of those safe on gd as relegated first time round

As you've spoken generally, I'm claiming generally too  Also, I'll just add that my comments were originally in response to the person that felt drawing every game was a good strategy, when clearly it isn't given history.

Well, you can't start criticising Dan for his English and then give it the old 'I meant to say this...' :D.

But yeah, agreed on it being a shit strategy.

There are others who were excellent for very different reasons. My all time favourite was that Grobelaar fella when he stood there wobbling his knees and everything for that penalty. One of the defining moments in goalkeeping history. (Sorry Bobo, I know it was the 'pooil and all that).
