we're past masters at making poo look good!
So what you're saying is we CAN polish a turd? This is upsetting the whole time/space continuum!!!!!
we can polish other clubs' turds... but not our own...

Gonna be interesting with the squad situation, same 11 but for Bogdan, Klasnic, Blake and Petrov? Or we gonna see some academy lads get a game? Maybe a new signing? Fingers crossed...

Cohen might be back and get a game by then dyou think? Maybe this :

Bogdan,
Ricketts, Cahill, Knight, Alonso
Rodrigo, Cohen, M Davies, Petrov
Klasnic, Blake

I'd have thought Cahill might be dropped to avoid cup-tie shenanigans in case he does go, meaning probably Ricketts in the middle with Steinsson on the right?

Do we really have no other centre backs at the club any more? :-S

Riga to be given a last chance saloon game? Or is it likely we'll be showing him the exit door instead?

Mark Connolly is the only other one.
Then we have academy scholars such as Bennett, etc.

Is Riga permitted with not having a squad number?

Tom Eaves to debut off the bench?

If our youngster's aren't deemed good enough to play against a conference side, it's a sad state of affairs.

Or perhaps you know they're mostly not that good and or ready.

We could chuck 6 younger players in against York and get beat, and what would that do for their confidence? Or ours for that matter!

Got my lad a ticket for this one - at £5 its a steal and surely a Wanderers goalfest against the part-timers!!! Get the feeling from reading the above that the home section will be poorly attended which I am surprised at given what Owen has done for us in the past year and this being one trophy we can actually win!!

Eaves was playing in league 1 last season, albeit at as a sub, but still.

Sunderland away, aye was television.

Danny, I thoughht this started out as quite good natured but then you've gone downhill quite quickly from there.

Just looking at your attendances for the season it would seem that you've acquired an 'extra' 2,000 fans who don't appear for every game. Bit rich isn't it?
Pfffft.

Not really. I'm hardly going to bend over if someone acts dismissive about us brining 5,000 supporters over, when the comparison is with a Premiership club's away support where the majority are "I'm supporting the Wanderers from my comfy armchair cause it's on Sky Sports".

So the "you only average 2,500 at home in the Conference" is interesting, as you have to wonder what you'd be averaging in the Conference. I'm guessing you'd be a Luton, pulling in 6,000 or so? We take no less than 500 to every away game, be it down south or wherever, against tinpot village teams like Histon. You've taken 200 to Sunderland in the Premiership. I'm not sure what your point is?

Didn't bring it up until one of your Sky Sports subscribers dismissed our support.

So, I'm happy to be friendly with you lot, especially as most of you are friendly, but if you think I'm going to pat you on the back when one of your lot effectively slags us off, no chance. And I thought my response wasn't in any way insulting :)

you started off OK - but you seemed to have turned into a knob.

here's some maths for you..

you reckon you're bringing 5000.

subtract from that 500 - your average away attendance (according to you, anyway)

that means 4,500 of them are really coming to watch Bolton (otherwise they'd go every other week) - no?

How much is a ticket away at Histon?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.
