Jaysus. Some kind of incredible knee-jerk from the homeless one there.

We might have been bad today, but we played with a non-RB, our 2nd keeper, 2 CM's who haven't really played all season and a kid at RM. I'm fairly certain that our Owen will be experimenting these next few games, see where we're at before next season. There will be some big changes in the playing staff, that much is certain. But coming off the back of this magnificent campaign, I don't see the need for all the misery?

Might?

I don't give a toss about the result and this has been a very good season in that we will finish top 10 and nearly made a cup final but that doesn't excuse the bollocks Coyles selections are serving up

We couldn't even string a couple of passes together...I can only remember 2 decent crosses, none in the first hour, and 1 of them was claimed by (their) Robinson

Why the insistence on trying to turn Rodrigo into a winger - are we so scared that we might discover something better than Davies?

If Sturridge goes home, that'll be roughly half of this seasons goals lost, but let us not worry, we've got SKD...

No great class on show today from either side but the better side on the day came out on top.If we had finished all our chances the score could have been a lot more but hey ho, you dont end up at the wrong end of the table like us through having prolific strikers!

An ex poster on here claimed that this squad was a previous managers! Well Sir Nut you are right, take out Sturridge and Holden and you could blink and even begin to imagine you were seeing a side managed by Gary feckin' Megson!!!

Who ever is responsable for coaching our defenders should be shot first thing Monday morning, their awareness is so good thay could be on a railway track and never notice the oncoming express train.

Four feckin games (3 without Sturridge) goals for 2 against 10!!!! go on someone tell me theres nowt seriosly wrong.

Chill out, dude. We've lost by the odd goal in 1. We've got 3 games left, we're still in a fight with Everton for 7th, we can't be relegated. we're going to finish a comfortable mid-table, hopefully the upper bit. Our home form this season has been utterly magnificent, our away form has been poor, yes, but we've got a summer full of excitement and change ahead of us, and next season we can push on and get that Europa League place.

4 Coyle signings featured today and his most expensive summer buy was on the bench and didn't play. Let's not make out that it's the team from last season totally. Big changes required imo let's not gloss over the fact that Skd is struggling, elmo and sturridge our main goalthreats may both leave and our midfield without Holden is poor. As hoboh says our back four fall asleep a lot as well. Mind Gardner and Cohen were as limp as you'll see and offered no protection!

Disappointing result last night, but concidering the line up not much of a surprise. Glad that Rodrigo got a game and hope he gets at least one more this season. Coyle has a big decision this summer so now is the time to find out if he is worth that risk. At present I would say unlikely. While we miss Sturridge we miss Holden more and also M. Davies. We do not have a big enough a club to get by without those players. Cohen while having a knack for scoring goals just isn't good enough for this level of football. Throw in a rusty Gardner and no wonder we struggled. Hopefully Coyle lets a few of the youngsters get a game in before the end of the season. I think there will be quite a few changes this summer, at least if Cahill is sold and the more he knows of the players abilities on the squad at present the better and the easier and more educated the decisions will be this summer. Coyle has done well for us so far, and we even beat one of the big teams only a week ago, now we need to get an idea in what direction he wants to take us next season. Think I'll opt for the IN COYLE WE TRUST route right now instead of the DRAMA QUEEN route.

Elmander is gone

I do forget folk find it difficult to keep up if it is presented in short words and the odd picture

And some folk find it difficult to stay awake when reading particular brands of hopeless pessimism.

I mean, what do I know, I'm only a mere fan of BWFC, but I'm fairly certain that Elmander still plays for us at the minute? Therefore he isn't gone?

Oh, no, wait, I see what you did there, you meant he's gone at the end of the season...well, again, correct me if I'm wrong, but we haven't stuck a contract in front of him since January, and the next time we were gonna discuss it with him was at the end of the season? Are you trying to say that it's 100%, absolutely irrevocably certain that he'll leave? There isn't the slightest chance that he'll stay with us?

Can I borrow your crystal ball? I can think of 101 better uses for it than looking up the futures of football players

I'm with True White on this, expectations at the start of the season were and from nearly everyone a middle table finish and a good cup run. OC delivered on that and still people moan. PLus we do still have three games left and are only 2 points behind 7th position which would be our highest finish for 3 seasons. Talk about the glass being half empty round here
Pfffft.

OK, I'll correct you

Coyle informed us 'further talks will take place in the next couple of weeks'

That was January, I think

Anyway, Elmander is shit...read any forum you like

I'm one of the few who didn't descend into a bottomless pit of depression post Wembley - I wouldn't hear that they gave up, maybe I gave them too much credit, I dunno

I'm happy with the season

Coyle has done a cracking job getting us to finish top half, even if the football is nothing special

What I'm not happy with is spineless shite as was served up yesterday

But if folk want to did themselvs the 'Coyle effect' is all that's required, you enjoy the ride but those buffers aren't too far in the distance

In my most humble of opinions

And another one not getting it

The finish and the cup run make this a very good season

Does that really excuse half arsed displays?

And does it mean having concerns about a front line led by our 'inspirational' captain aren't valid

Are you just going to keep on subtracting players from the list of goal scorers this season to support your ludicrous argument?

IF Elmander goes, what makes you think that the goals he's scored won't be scored by his replacement? Or do you think Coyle is planning to start next season without any strikers?

Maybe he'll sign a young Spanish lad who is all right foot then play him on the left wing

Who knows?
