Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
I'm sorry TT but how has Coyle given us the best chance to get something out of this game? Its his job to pick the best team possible, he has clearly dropped a bollock with this selection. I mean WTF is going on here.
I don't think there is a logical argument to explain Ream playing in midfield with Muamba on the bench. Nevermind playing Davies on the right and Pratley. Just bizarre.

More importantly...does he know where he is supposed to be playing?!DJBlu wrote:Anyone know where Ream is playing?
To me it looks like he's man marking Yaya Toure.

Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
Bogdan is so far having a great game, mind you he will still be picking the ball out of the net another 4 times in the 2nd half.
The voices in my head may not be real...but they have some great ideas!

He's following him round the pitch like a puppy dog so I assume so.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:More importantly...does he know where he is supposed to be playing?!DJBlu wrote:Anyone know where Ream is playing?

Bit like the Megson tactic used to keep Gerrard quiet.
Dreading the second half.

I wouldn't have put it past Coyle to not give him instructions!DJBlu wrote:He's following him round the pitch like a puppy dog so I assume so.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:More importantly...does he know where he is supposed to be playing?!DJBlu wrote:Anyone know where Ream is playing?

the game being described on here and the game i am watching us play are completely differant. you are all so negative all of you seem to think you know about tatics but the reality is you know jack and your just good at complaining from afar. Just get behind the team we are 1 - 0 down (to a massive deflection) away to city who are the best team in the league and not playing as bad as you lot are making out. just watch it and see what happens instead of trying to be the person who comes out with the most negative smart arsed comment!

Bizarre selection altho pratley has been better than previous. Cant believe we're only one down. Good to see Mavis out wide where he can really impact on the game.Pure genius playing our fastest defender infront of the two slowest ones aswell.
We'll still lose by at least 4.

Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
It doesn't matter how you've set the team up if they're as poorly organised at the back as we are.
We actually look bright going forwards and for a period competed ok, but we are just so poor at the back.
And it's not just cos City are really good. Some of it is just shocking organisation, such as the high line not always working, why we play a high line god only knows, and our inability to pick up runners from midfield.
We are still in this though. Just have to hang in there at 1-0 for as long as possible and try and nick something.

It's ironic that we're one down to a deflection when city should have scored 4 in the first five mins.We have looked ok on the ball at times but really city can rip us apart at will.drummergeek wrote:the game being described on here and the game i am watching us play are completely differant. you are all so negative all of you seem to think you know about tatics but the reality is you know jack and your just good at complaining from afar. Goal was a pure freak. Steinsson had no choice but to try and get in the way of the shot and left Bogdan stranded. Just sheer bad luck. Bogdan playing a blinder.

Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
We were battered first 15mins but have done well since but we all know what happens after coyle's inspirational half time team talks. So i'm still sticking with my 3-0 prediction because they will bring on Silva and Aguero 2nd half.

Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
Tim Ream fan here, I'm totally shocked that he is playing midfield. Seems like a big ask for someone in like his second Premier League game, against City. He only he 2 years as a pro, and played center back exclusively. As an amateur at St Louis he played center back, with a few emergency games at left back. Maybe he played there when he was 6 years old or something.
And City has 15 shots in a half? Maybe they will break a record for most shots in a game?

Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
and we wont be the first team that they will have ripped apart this season

Re: Wanderers v Blue Moonies...
I have to agree we are doing alright. I'm i right in thinking that it took Blackburn 80 mintues to have a shot a goal last week, We have had N'gog, Ryo(2) and Ricketts test hart out.drummergeek wrote:the game being described on here and the game i am watching us play are completely differant. you are all so negative all of you seem to think you know about tatics but the reality is you know jack and your just good at complaining from afar. I expect/expected us to lose but just get behind your team!! what do you have to lose?
Defense could be better, maybe Coyle has seen how bad we have defended hence why he opted for Ream. Reo Coker for me is better going forward than Moo so maybe again that was his reasoning. If Moo were to have started that would only damage his record that is stated everywhere.
