Nice to be wise after the fact. It was a decent team we put out in the begining. What would we be doing to the youngster by dropping him after he scored in the last match he started, especially when we need the full squad for 2 games in 2 days. No point changing him at half time when we need a fully fit Steinson for Monday. I would have brought on Sordell instead of Klasnic to give us some pace up front but thats about all I would diagree with OC on. There will be more changes no doubt for Monday. Time to give Sordell a start.

That was whats been coming to us.
Over the last 3 games we've won we have ridden our luck, today we were as bad as last week but last week we were lucky, the only only luck we got today was Wiggin losing to an offside goal and a last minute one.
which was also offside

hmmm... he picked a side that most of us thought should be able to do the job... sometimes the players are just overpaid shitty wankers... not much he can do about that on the day...

To be fair Fulham are right up there in the table (2pts behind 7th) and they've looked on fire recently on MOTD.

Dempsey is "fantasy gold", stuffing my team with Newcastle players for Monday

OC's selections seem a bit crazy although to be fair it was just Alonso people have been talking about so that's just one out of eleven. If plan A doesn't work, plan B is even worse.

Positives are we're not in relegation zone and it's not like the toon are trying to get into europe or anything

Why can we never score against them, never mind win?!

Marcos Alonso is on a par with Paul Robinson for being the worst fullback I've ever seen. At least Robinson was plain shit but showed enthusiasm, Alonso is just pure shit that falls over when someone runs at him and his speed makes Kevin Davies look like Usain Bolt.

Thankfully we have Tim Ream in defence, otherwise it would have been a lot worse.

All we need is to be not as shite as the other 4 shite teams.

Wolves winning now...agree with some of the comments on here about there being nothing really wrong with team selection except Alonso. Team just flat, couldn't pass and looked incapable of creativity. Big job to do to create some self-belief. Worrying thing is that lot her teams such as Wigan seem to be better (hated saying that!).

Wigan got unlucky away to Chelsea, we've just been destroyed on our own patch by Fulham who haven't won away for about 25 years, worrying times.

One shot on target compared to six for Fulham. Pathetic. Can anyone remember the one? At least Stoke have scored...also feeling strage to want United to win again.

We carry too many players as a team (1)Alonso Centre backs usually being pulled out of position to cover for him ,constantly allowing his man to get inside.(2) Pratley what does he actually do? no close ball control, poor passing of the ball, can't tackle. Mavis all right when we're on top but a bit of a luxury when we're on the back foot. NGog can't fault his work rate but constantly getting the ball lumped up to him is clearly not his game. for the remaining games it's got to be Steinson Wheats Ream Rickets NRC Tuncay (Riley) Petrov RYO NGog Sordell even if it means playing 4-4-2 may as well go down fighting.

Pretty sure I just watched a relegated side. Such a sluggish tempo from the start and no one looking willing to put in that big performance to drag us through. Then when 2 down, no one looked like they wanted the ball, and people were hiding. Really disappointing after the last few weeks.

We've lost 20 out of 31 so far this season. Serious injuries to Holden, Lee, Mears and Muamba. I don't wanna sound downbeat or anything but if Coyle keeps us up he'll deserve a knighthood

Fully agree. Does anyone really think that the next 8 games will serve up anything other than more of the same?
