thats the thing, i CBA reading any post on here longer than a couple of lines, and info is shoved away in millions of different threads which makes it more difficult to access. I made a suggestion once (to much disapproval) that the forum should only display a limited no of characters, with a 'read more' option if the opening was enough to intrigue you... but i suppose this is why both formats exist?

As opposed to interacting with real people? Then again it's easier to call someone a c*nt from behind a keyboard isn't it?
So talk to non-Bolton fans about Bolton Wanderers? What's the point? And it is easier, aye.., But I'm not averse to saying it to "real people" either...

Anyway, are we buying anybody? Can I ask on here or can anyone suggest a relevant hashtag?

Very cryptic.

The essence of twitter. If I was on it I would do nothing but laugh at this all day.

I think you are right on the 'why they both exist' side. I prefer the really long paragraph by paragraph stuff. I guess I'm a geek, but that's one of the reasons Twitter has never appealed. It's a bit superficial for me. But yeah, I think Twitter and TW can coexist for many a year to come!

If we could all agree that twitter is pointless, I think the world would be a better place.

Yes, but there are levels Pru. And twitter seems to inhabit the previously unheard of 10th.

Stop it. Right Now.

Transfers: I have no news to impart, but at least I'm talking about transfers... of footballers, from one club to another.
