But it has everything to do with how competent or otherwise the manager is. Which is what we are discussing.SmokinFrazier wrote:Jaffka is right. A player could earn £100k a week for us but if he isn't good enough to play, he doesn't deserve to. The money we paid for them and their wages is an entirely separate issue to the question of who should be playing.

Re: Bolton vs Crystal Palace
He's pointing out that a variety of expensive Coyle signings cant get in the shittest team we've had in nigh on twenty years and are sitting on the bench, watching us fail to force a save from the keeper in 95 minutes of football and being outplayed by a Palace side with a wage budget a fraction of ours.jaffka wrote:Well if you are sticking your nose in, tell me what he is on about, because really I dont know?Racist.
That's what hes saying. Geddit?

I think worthy is trying to make the point that views of those not present during todays debacle are to some extent subservient to the views of those present. A position to which I readily subscribe inspite of it potentially meaning in a few games time that worthy will have to argue with himself being as he may be the only one present.
Of course it does help to see the game in order to hold a view but having read comments and seen the players and coyle in action for some period of time it may be possible for non attendees to have some insight nontheless.

The only thing that tests imagination is how people like W4E and myself could see how shite Coyle was last season yet folks like you couldn't.jaffka wrote:Right thanks, so we are now discussing imaginary teams winning games?
Think it shows who knows what's going on and who doesn't have a fecking clue which way their shoelaces should be tied!

Nearly. They're not to some extent subservient. They're totally irrelevant.
How the fcuk can you possibly comment on something you've not seen?
