Missed a good 40 minutes of this match. Can anyone tell me if N'Gog has had a shot?
Our lot think Shittu is still a Bolton player. As long as the only idea we have is bang it down the middle for him to head back we'll be lucky to see a shot.

and they'll go - really??? and go out and get spectacularly battered...

He's arrogant enough not to realise his necks on the line.
Why blame himself when he can lay the blame with everyone else ??
I'd sack him straight after another dismal defeat tonight, and not let him on the coach home.

Mumbles something about disputing Bogdan's ability.
Because, & let's finally admit it, Bogdan is exceptionally average.
To be fair to Coyle it's not all his fault we have a crap young kid in goal rather than Al Habsi or Jaaskalainen. That's mostly due to the money men.
Bogdan is not the problem and an anti-bogdan crusade won't help.... pah!
This is true, and as accident prone I believe him to be he also has his plus points. His job isn't helped by the crap in front of him.

Well the players after this match get a two week break so hopefully they'll come back refreshed and given a new start to the season. That two points average per game is rubbish. Regardless of the team we've gotta aim for three points. Lets not be settling.

Coyles biggest mistake was letting Ali Al-Habsi go, he's been Wigans best player for the last 2 seasons which tells you something. I want Coyle out of our club sooner rather than later and have been advocating this since last November, if he stays we could slip another division, the man is a moron and is tactically inept, who keeps spouting the same old bullshit and I'm sick of it,nearly as much as I am of these idiots who want to "give him more time" and "lets get behind the team" I AM BEIND THE fecking TEAM, its Coyle I can't abide !!! Rant over

Still 45 to go, there's no reason we can't come back and win this.

Al Habsi wanted out, the offered a large amount of money, we couldn't afford to pay 3 first-line keepers.

And its not even in the top 20, even if you do want to class it as a mistake.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Al-Habsi wanted first team football. He figured he wouldn't get it being understudy to Jaaskelainen.

Why Jussi ended up being understudy to Bogdan was the most disconcerting thing. Too soon for Bogdan, despite him being a standout performer last season.

Normal service resumed.

Bogdan making a good save to keep the side in it.
