According to this blogspot and I'm sorry to link a Gooner site to this one but Afobe has decided to join us. Also I read with interest what the Gooners had written about us underneath. Don't think that some of those comments would have been applicable 5/6 years ago :)

I've not seen much of this Obi one Afobe, so i wouldn't know if he would be a good signing or not, going of his loan spell at Huddersfield last year 5 goals in 28 games doesn't give me much confidence in the lads goal scoring ability.

Another Alan Nixon Exclusive.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is trying to gazump his old club Bolton by signing Colombia World Cup midfielder Carlos Sanchez.

Allardyce has approached Sanchez, who played for French side Valenciennes, via his own agent and made an offer to join his Premier League bound side that tops the deal the Championship Trotters have put on the table.

Sanchez is due to make a decision in the next 24 hours.

Bolton have become fed up with delays after spending weeks chasing the powerful star, who's nicknamed The Rock.

Sanchez, who has talked to several clubs as he looks for a new home and been linked with Reading, has had trouble getting a visa to travel.

West Ham have already landed ex-Wigan star Mohamed Diame on a Bosman this summer to beef up midfield for their return to the top flight.

So after 8 weeks of pissing about trying to sort out a deal, West Ham nip in at the last minute and gazump us

Well, there you go then.

If he chooses them over us .. so be it...next. I guess it would be the loan market to find a good promising youngster from a Premier League club seeking good experience. Who could we have from Chelsea, Arsenal or Man City that plays Defensive Mid for the season? Suggestions?

Like he's moving to beat his other former club to another player:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... t-Ham.html
West Ham have launched a bid to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.

The 23-year-old has been a target for Blackburn, who were desperate to persuade him to join their Portuguese contingent.

However, Sam Allardyce has moved to beat his former club with a £1million offer.
Silva is a box to box style player who impressed on loan at Academica last season.

Meanwhile, West Ham target Sebastian Boenisch has held talks with Wolves.

So Sam's buying 20 defensive midfielder now? It's weird as I thought that's why they had signed Diame?

Iles confident we'll have our men by the weekend despite interest from Spam. Also at the end of the article mentions that we have an option to loan Miyachi again.

Coyle should have had a plan B last season. Wasn't much in evidence then. Mind you, his plan A was often difficult to spot, too.

Anyway, the B[M]N reckons he's going to sign. So that's sorted then - nearly as accurate as Michael Vaughan is Marc Iles.

I hate Star Wars. Stop it.
Meanwhile "A report in the Mirror earlier in the week also hinted that Ryo Miyaichi could return to the Reebok Stadium, however, having held his own in the Premier League last season it would be strange to see him drop a division."

"Held his own"? The Japanese Stuart Storer "held his own"? Well, maybe they're insinuating that he couldn't pull, but if they think he played well for us....Hmmm...

Goes to show that Arsenal's glory-hunting camp-followers know knack-all about football.

Or does "holding your own" in the Premier League involve knocking the ball past a full-back, then using your pace to get past him, before putting your cross out for a goal kick?

Myaichi is a one trick pony, absolute fanny, waste of oxygen. We have umpteen wingers. Surely Coyle isnt thick enough to sign him?

Be disappointed. The blog doesn't say much at all, to be honest.

But be disappointed now. It'll save time.
