A host of Premier League clubs are considering a January raid for Standard Liege star Mohammed Tchite with Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United, Everton, and Bolton Wanderers, all tracking the star, while Aston Villa, Fulham and Sunderland are also all reportedly monitoring the in-form Burundian international. (talkSport)

(sounds a bit like a terrorist to me...)

Beats International followed their smash "Dub Be Good To Me" up with "Burundi Blues"

It cemented their place in One Hit Wonderville, before Norman Cook took on 396 different aliases.

That's the first andm until now, last time I'd heard of Burundi.

How would we tell the difference?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Hopefully we'll have this Elmander contract sorted out soon. The longer we leave it the more nervous we'll get. I'm sure the agents going to be using that to his advantage but it'll be such a shame if we didn't keep him on or at least recoup some of the transfer money we've spent on him. Big expensive players are always a risk like this and we're close to the troublesome situation that we find ourselves in.

I'm hopeful that Elmo will stay on and be happy here. We all had the languishing effect of Megson around the team and Elmander seemed to be very much affected by this. Hopefully he'll attribute the success and level of performances to the team spirit of the club at the minute and hopefully he'll want to carry that on.

According to the Daily Facist...
Leeds United have slapped midfielder Bradley Johnson on the transfer-list after he refused a new deal.
The 23-year-old's contract expires next summer but the club will be open to offers in January, rather than lose him for free.
Stoke and Bolton have both been strongly linked with the player and are monitoring the situation closely.

Habsi appears to be putting out past third base for Wiggin....
Wigan Athletic goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi has vowed to remain with his club instead of representing his country at the Gulf Cup, which kicked off in Yemen on Tuesday.

The keeper, who is on a season-long loan from Lancashire rivals Bolton Wanderers, was supposed to join up with his Oman teammates and help defend the trophy they won last time round.

Al-Habsi has instead decided to stay at the DW Stadium and help the club fight their way out of the Premier League relegation zone.

Speaking to the Wigan Evening Post, Al-Habsi said: "To be honest, my mind and heart is over there with my country, and I wish them all the best.

"I have made my decision and I want to concentrate all my attention on Wigan, because this is my team now."

Yeah looks like we're in capable hands with Bogdan and Jussi could play another few years.

Never thought Megson gave Ali a fair shake after his late season heroics but that's another matter.
