At least you didn't get up at 6.45 and travel 5 hours on a cramped coach to this godforsaken hole to watch your team disintergrate in front of your eyes. To then have to make the return journey having lost any pride that was lingering prior to kick off. Be thankful mateHMX wrote:This must be one of the worst days of football, for me. This, word-for-word.truewhite15 wrote:It's horrible to say it, but the buck stops with the management. There's no leadership in our team, there's no organisation. Our defence is shambolic. Some of our players are sub-standard. Some of our good players are injured, alright, but the others are left on the bench.
Our form this season has been bad enough. If we take the form from last season after Wembley into account as well, and extrapolate until we hit 38 games, we would be bottom. Not only bottom, but cast so far adrift that we'd probably be relegated with 8 games to go. I can't see any recovery in sight, neither can anyone else.
I'm sorry, but it's time to say - Owen, thanks for the good times last season, but the moment has come for you to step aside.

In all honesty, the trip to Wembley was a good day until kick off.Salford Trotter wrote:At least you didn't get up at 6.45 and travel 5 hours on a cramped coach to this godforsaken hole to watch your team disintergrate in front of your eyes. somethings got to be done Coyle hasn't a clue but they are professional footballers surely they should be able to adapt if they see somethings not working the whole team are a disgrace .Pratley Eagles failures not good enough what have Tuncay and Kakuta been brought in for?Petrov proves time and time again he is a luxury we can't afford.

Stand four on the goal line, Bring KD and Klasnic on and leave them, N'gog and Eagles in their half and just keep wellying it forward. Or maybe bring Coyle on....

Who want want to come in and take over. Mark Hughes? I don't think so! We would just get stuck with a 'Megson' again!!! but something needs to change. i think the team is weak. We have nothing in Midfield!!! NO one to hold the ball so we get wave after wave of attack.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
