I was in internet limbo on Saturday so didn't know what was going on. But I did see the line up and saw Pratley was playing. Didn't know if other players were injured or this was a masterplan by Coyle.

I got a text at HT to say '0-0' and started to reply along the lines of 'Time for one of Owen's famous HT team demoralisational team talks then'. I hadn't finished my reply whe '1-0 Bastards!' came through.

Now, I've not read ANY reviews or watched ANY highlights but do I need to? What is it with Coyle where he likes playing with 10 men?

He seems to have a problem picking a 'strong' side. Somewhere in that starting XI he has to chuck in a weak link, whether that's Zat, Robbo, the formation or TPFKASKD?

Yes we've had back luck this season with our best players watching from the sidelines but 90pc of this mess we're in is down to Coyle pure and simple.

Losing against Chelsea was not a surprise to anyone. The bad thing is that neither was losing to Wigan.

I've stuck up for Coyle out of a sense of 'who else are we going to get?' but looking at the mess we're in I think a blind Chimpanzee with a pencil in its teeth could pick a better team than him.

Fuming.
I'm not asking you to 'think outside the box' I just wish you'd have a rummage around in it once in a while.

Apparently Billy Smart has been a regular at Euxton and Fridays. Finally the reason is out.

Actually, I like his personality, he could be a great daddy even if he is not an able football manager
