I believe that every Chelsea player's got one (maybe Leicester have too) so I think they may have pre-planned it with the Ref.plymouth wanderer wrote:cahill just scored for chelsea and ran over to the crowd and pulled his shirt up to reveal PRAY FOR MUAMBA shirt
and ref did't book him
nice touch
So fitting that Gazza opened the scoring

May the bridges I burn light your way

Nice of you to say and I was proud of every Spurs fan at WHL last night - it was something I dont ever want to witness again but everyone came together willing Fabrice on and when you guys started singing his name the whole stadium (Myself Included) sung his name with you all.jayunited wrote:you spurs fans are pure class. fair play.
But since then I am just proud of football fans everywhere as the response has been fantastic - everyone just needs to keep praying and thinking positive now and hope that he makes a full recovery.
Much love to Fabrice and all his family and also to you Bolton fans as I can imagine it feels alot worse when it is one of your own guys but be sure that football fans everywhere are united with you.
Football means nothing compared to a human life and I want to see Fabrice back in action ASAP.

both my congregations this morning (largely west ham and Arsenal fans) offered prayers for Moo this morning...
Re: Fabrice Muamba
It's been quite a while since I came on here, an Irishman living in Poland and I don't get a lot of time for this anymore. But after what happened yesterday I think I need to be on here now, with fellow hopers.
Was out for Paddy's Day when I heard the news last night, had to go home. Fell asleep with my laptop beside my head and a news-feed open. The picture someone posted of him with his kid brought tears to my eyes, again. Like everyone else, I'm just in shock, and hoping beyond hope...
Gotta say, Spurs have honestly been my least-favourite team in world football for many a year, but after the way they conducted themselves as a club and a group yesterday I will always have a soft spot for them now. I know it's depressing that we praise human decency when it is displayed... we should be able to expect it, but unfortunately it seems all too rare sometimes. So to any Spurs fans reading this, you were impeccable. And football fans the world over, signing up just to leave good wishes. It's amazing.
Get well soon, Fabrice.

Can pretty much agree with all of this. I dislike Spurs more than any other but they handled themselves brilliantly yesterday.
Re: Fabrice Muamba
Was at the game last night and it will haunt me for a long time. Just hope and pray that Fabrice Muamba pulls through. Both sets of fans were brilliant in their reaction as were all the players and staff.
Thoughts and prayers for Fabrice, his family and Bolton Family.

Re: Fabrice Muamba
Tottenham fan here, posted yesterday to express my shock and support for Fabrice.
I have seen the many messages of support from every part of the football community and it made me realise that we may be rivals in sport but we are part of the football family and when a member of the football family needs support everyone no matter who they support rallies around.
Real football fans are not hooligans they are genuine people who share a love for the game.
Fabrice we wait to welcome you back to White Hart Lane, keep fighting.

Gary struggled through the post match interview aswell admitting his head was elsewhere today. Press should have left the lad alone today IMO.

Re: Fabrice Muamba
I've just had a mass celebrated at my local catholic chaplaincy for Fabrice's intentions, I know religion isn't for everyone but at a time like this I personally find a great deal of solace from prayer. Hopefully tomorrow we'll have some happier news
