The Scot launched a withering attack on his squad, which was hauled in for extra training yesterday, and now sit just four points off the relegation zone.
“I still take it for granted that I am in this for the long haul because I am trying to build something up from scratch,” said Freedman.
“But along that way you are seeing players who are frankly not good enough for the football club. Anyone can see that.
“I have to work with these players and train with them until I can get recruitment in.
“I have been here 14-15 months but there is still a nucleus of players who are simply not good enough.
“And you can’t move them on because football players these days earn that much money.
I'm not entirely sure they're inconsistent, but at least he said it this time

Really? He actually said that? We played with one centre forward who has a similar goalscoring record to that of me, we played with a five-man midfield that didn't include a single creative player, we had five more midfielders and one defender on the bench, and the prick's bemoaning our lack of creativity? Seriously? fecking hell fire.Peter Thompson wrote: "The one disappointing thing is that we didn't create enough in the final 20 minutes.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

I'm stuck on page 12.
I'm presuming that's the gif that keeps giving.
Did I miss anything, or can I resume on p.13 with a salved consciousness.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
Getting really rather titted off with losing now.
But seeing as I'm planning to watch us at three of the four sides below us, at least I should get to see the key moments.
Just found myself idly wondering if we'll need a win on the last day and, for the third successive season, fail by drawing 2-2.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
I think we are in a difficult situation. The main problem is that we are unable to get anything out of away games with this current 4-5-1(the 5 all being defensive midfielders) as a result we will lose the 6 pointers against Millwall, Yeovil and Charlton. In reality it could all be over come the end of the away game at Wednesday.
The above post is complete bollox/garbage/nonsense, please point this out to me at any and every occasion possible.

We were losing 2 - 0 against qpr and he took craig davies off, so still one up, the new lad looks good but he cant do it all on his own, i like medo but he is getting lazy and the turning round and blameing others.Bruce Rioja wrote:Really? I have always liked Craig Davies and thought what the f**k is he (Dougie) doing when he loaned him out. I stand by such a statement.

I'll third that, Craig has always looked lively and dangerous when he's come on. Was really the last straw for me loaning him out and getting that unpronouncable in, what an awful, awful decision.

I'll fourth it. i just can't see the point in loaning out someone and getting someone in to replace them?
Unless he's told Dougie to f**k off?

I always thought he looked a bit shit, personally. But still unsure why we've been left so short of numbers

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
I'd have guessed it was because he expected Mason to arrive, though Lukas seems more of a 'like for like'. Very odd decision .... but 'very odd decisions' seem par for the course.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He's not the best. But he's a trier and works hard and certainly was worth a squad place. The decision is baffling. Was it Freedman's call?boltonboris wrote:I always thought he looked a bit shit, personally. But still unsure why we've been left so short of numbers
Either way I don't agree with it at this stage. We could have waited till the loan window to make sure we could get a proper replacement in.
Re: Ipswich Match Thread
Cravies scored a number of goals at this level for Barnsley, and once scored four times in a game away to Birmingham so he's obviously not shit. I think it's hilarious that Mason turned us down.

Don't think Mason turned us down at all. Had some personal issues going on. May happen once the loan window re-opens.Jugs wrote:Cravies scored a number of goals at this level for Barnsley, and once scored four times in a game away to Birmingham so he's obviously not shit. Re: Ipswich Match Thread
I can't believe that he's been loaned without DF's say-so. There must be more to it than meets the eye. If there's not and it's a purely footballing decision, then he's worse than I thought.BWFC_Insane wrote:He's not the best. But he's a trier and works hard and certainly was worth a squad place. Also, does anyone know if there's any way of seeing last year's table after specific games? Was interested to see what the table looked like after the Watford game last year. Not because I hold out any hope of a similar turnaround, but because I'm a statto geek.

Re: Ipswich Match Thread
Yes I think that's right. Unless he's going to be played alongside Jutkiewicz, I hope he does turn us down. If Beckford is still struggling we might as well recall Sordell or Eaves.BWFC_Insane wrote:Don't think Mason turned us down at all. Had some personal issues going on.
