Mcatee did really well barring that last touch. Unlucky.

Well at least it's a win. How did Matheson do as I could only keep nipping in to catch what I could? And thanks again to DJB for a spot on the couch.

Lewis didn't even get a kick. I'd be happy with that. Token inclusion

What a curious game.

Matheson and Dempsey were the two positives to take away from that one, for me. Matheson I think showed enough to suggest he could compete for the RWB spot.

Steve Bruce being appointed by Blackpool another positive thing to happen during that game.

Much better second half.
Hasn't really changed the calculus. The awful stuff was really awful, the good stuff was pretty good. Too much of the former, not enough of the latter.

Well, looks like lots of L1 clubs struggled against L2 oppo tonight. Wigan, Lincoln, Hudds lost. Brum—who started May and Stansfield—gone to pens vs. Walsall.

When has Blackpool never been scruffy?

Thought Matheson played ok but he’s practically a midget. Can’t see him playing league football!
Clearly hope tutu walking off / limping was a positive and that isn’t serious.
Agree with ghost. Off game that’s showed our better side and too much of our worst.

M.O.T.M. DJ.Blu . Thanks as ever buddy.
The game, well, we won and a win's a win, so...I just wish we didn't start every game by giving the opposition a (soft) goal start. Beyond that, best forgot. Did somebody mention Arsenal?

Thanks Blu. Not "vintage" but sometimes just the win is important, so a scuffy 3-2 is wecome, but that's 3 games running we've conceded 2. (Or 3 in 4)

Chesterfield made 8 changes beat Lincoln.
Doncaster made 8 changes and beat Huddersfield.
Walsall made 6 changes and drew with Birmingham. Then won on penalties.
