It'll be a tank for dunking people in, in a similar way to how one might dunk a Hob-nob biscuit into a cup of tea.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Ok, help me, what's a dunk tank?

Re: The Debt.
So, Mr Pedersen wants to dunk notourEmmaanymore in boiling hot tea and then hold her up by the head and watch bits of her drop off and plop back into the tea. Harsh. So would it be a race to see if Garty or notourEmmaanymore dissolved first?.Bruce Rioja wrote:It'll be a tank for dunking people in, in a similar way to how one might dunk a Hob-nob biscuit into a cup of tea.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Ok, help me, what's a dunk tank?

Re Emma Davies: I'm going to go against popular opinion here and probably cause outrage, whatever, but I have a grudging sense of admiration for a lady who stands by her husband and defends him ( a man who will ever be one of my all-time White heroes) through all that comes and never backs down. Despite the rights and wrongs, controversy or misguided views, she never backed off in defence of her husband. There stands a quality lady for me.

SKD's Mrs or Gartside?
No brainer really, now if it was Eddie Davies and Gartside....
I'd walk away!

I have a similar opinion of the battleaxe, hence why Hoboh is due a tongue lashing. She's a fairly fit looking battleaxe too.TANGODANCER wrote:Re Emma Davies: I'm going to go against popular opinion here and probably cause outrage, whatever, but I have a grudging sense of admiration for a lady who stands by her husband and defends him ( a man who will ever be one of my all-time White heroes) through all that comes and never backs down. Re: The Debt.
So tomorrow.....
What's the worst case scenario? That the case is heard, we go into administration, lose 12 points but carry on for the time being?
Forgive my ignorance but there's no chance of total liquidation is there? I take it that only follows a period of administration if our debts/outgoings are still out of control?

Re: The Debt.
Liquidation is if a suitable buyer isn't found and the majority of our creditors aren't satisfied with the offer we give them (p/£). My understanding is that ED is the major creditor in that situation, and therefore everybody else would have to follow his decision.
ED, again. Depends how pissed off with us he is and how much him (his family?) want to squeeze out of us.

Re: The Debt.
I don't think 'major' creditor has a bearing on it. It all depends on aggressive creditors pushing for their cash and the judges decision at a winding up hearing.Lord Kangana wrote:Liquidation is if a suitable buyer isn't found and the majority of our creditors aren't satisfied with the offer we give them (p/£). What's occurring on Monday is a petition for a winding up order. If granted a date is set in future for a court case that may lead to a winding up order. Monday isn't the final anything just a potential step to a final thing.

Re: The Debt.
To extrapolate
Scenarios 1-5
1. Voluntary Administration called by BWFC tomorrow morning. Petition goes ahead but is a technicality as it is merely informed Administration has been entered into.
2. Petition takes place. Judge orders Administration.
3. Petition takes place and judge grants it. Date set for winding up order hearing.
4. Petition takes place but on balance of evidence judge agrees to postpone to a later date (at which point scenarios 2, 3 or 5 occur providing 1 hasn't happened).
5. Judge dismisses petition.
For 5 to place place you need a new buyer or significant investment input.
Route 1 is a get out clause to avoid scenarios 2 and 3 (n.b. scenarios 1 & 2 are not the same thing).

If the majority of creditors agree, then that is what the administrator has to act upon. Its usually more complicated, but its quite simple in ours as he's the single 'majority'. And he did ask if we went into administration. And that's pretty much what happens.

Re: The Debt.
So by not wiping the debt that's owed to him before a sale is completed, Eddie is protecting us from a creditor who doesn't have the best interests of the club at heart liquidating us because they don't agree with the terms?Lord Kangana wrote:Lost Leopard Spot wrote:I don't think 'major' creditor has a bearing on it.
