The more interesting question is how many players who we have signed since Coyle has been here were not first seen in a Nixon article in the Mirror or the People. I can't think of many/any!

Been chasing this Sanchez for 7-8 weeks and it looks like a no go. We really do have a habit of this, the season starts in 2 weeks and we still lack a defensive midfielder and probably need loans for a striker, maybe a midfield player and a defender.

We are getting Afobe for a loan striker are we not?

Agree we need a big bastard in midfield. But generally we're in pretty decent shape squad wise, IMO. Virtually 2 teams can be named, so cover for every position, just about. Not bad.
