Look very similair except the first has the letter 'O' interposed between the 2 and 8. The 'O' is very close to the 'K' on a qwerty keyboard and so, logically, could have been a slip.
This is Gary the Enfield. In Enfield. Pedant.

Threadjacked.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

NE reporters saying Sunderland target Nzogbia - whom some on here have asked for - won't accept less than £65kpw. So that's him out.

I don't believe the "Jo on loan" thing. But it would be a good deal for us. Better than owt we've got up front.

...except that we then couldn't loan anyone else from Citeh. That might prove foolish when their August splurges leave better players sidelined.

I'd say he's as good as anyone we could loan from them, a centre-half excluded

Well indeed but a striker is a pressing concern for us.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:...except that we then couldn't loan anyone else from Citeh. That might prove foolish when their August splurges leave better players sidelined.
Who else are they likely to loan out? I can't see anything in the Jo story seeing as its not actually a story anywhere, but he'd be a good get on a loan basis for me. Especially if Sturridge is not available. Personally I suspect we're waiting to see on Sturridge before looking elsewhere!

Exactly. Boyatta and Onuoha might not be quite so beaming about their prospects if Mancini signs two more centre-backs before August's up. Jo isn't the worst player we could sign, and he's not the worst striker in the Premier League, but it would be a very questionable decision considering our alternative uses for that avenue.Lofthouse Lower wrote:I'd say he's as good as anyone we could loan from them, a centre-half excluded

Blackburn are ready to make a £6.5million bid for Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha.

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
DSB I'd say a striker is a greater need for us than a centre half. We're more likely to be able to afford to buy centre half cover or options IMO than a striker of required quality. So I'd say we're better off using our loands for forwards than centre halves if the options work that way!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Exactly. Agree completely - we can always win 5-4 anyway if need be
