Useful, so long as he's not the main course.

Is the right answer. Was good last year when paired with the Juke (AKA, a big target man). Was as shite as the rest of our forwards when stuck up front by himself. Or with the lethargic, apathetic Beckford.

Happy to get Mason, but it's gotta be Mason + A.N. Other

Aye because we know that we don't have anyone for him to play off.

I like Mason but he wasn't the man who made the real difference last season. Until we fill that hole I fear we lack the ingredient we really need.

This'll test him. (Nixon, that is)

Can Zaha play the holding role ?

dunno - VG reckons he can't play wing-back, though...
Already, though, Zaha is on the back foot. In a press conference in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Van Gaal made it clear that his new 3-5-2 system could restrict the 21-year-old’s role at the club, depriving Zaha of the freedom to play in his favoured position on the wing, where as a Crystal Palace player he dazzled with his dazzling step-overs and blistering pace.

It was this creativity that persuaded Palace supporters to place a gigantic post on London’s south circular with the words ‘He’s just too good for you’.

He's a professional. I bloody well hope he's too good for me.

It was me they were addressing, wasn't it?

... or at Cardiff on loan where Eluned says he had a real bad attitude. Sort of "I'm too big time to be here".

So long as he settles .... and enjoys his old boss .... then yes he should be a good catch.

Big test if it's true. He's gonna either be the kids who ripped the champo apart a year ago, but better... Or he's a promising kid who has pissed it away. I'm still sticking with Tom Ince to win.

gossip on LionofVienna that Cravies might be off on loan to sheffU - allegedly spotted at their friendly game last night....

(for those interested in certainty I cannot say how accurate or likely this is - it is gossip/tittle-tattle/hearsay)

The guy spotted at their friendly, was just some black guy.. Wasn't even Craig Davies, but somebody reckoned it was
