Ngog is useless in front of goal so I have to disagree completely with him being 'leagues ahead' as a striker. He spurns too many chances, a lot of them sitters.

There may be a lot to add but he's got age on his side. Don't forget that he was a regular goalscorer for Watford in this division.

Attacking wise with the addition of Beckford I'm ok and quietly confident this season goals wise - defensively (centrally) we are still poor, as bad as any team in the bottom half of the division if playing any two at CB from Knight (liability), Mills, Wheater & Ream (all very slow & pedestrian), and TBH I'm very surprised that Freedman hasn't made a fast, pacy centre back an absolute priority this window.

2 decent centre backs required urgently or one plus Baptiste at CB if we are to have any chance of promotion, we will concede 2 goals a game as usual with Knight in the back four, I don't know what he's got on the club but he must have something !

Which was my point. He could score 20 in pre season and it would mean nowt. But since he's scored goals in this division before, and Dougie believes he can coach the best out of players, I tend to think selling him would be premature (although I'll concede if it funds a Dawson purchase, I'd be up for it)

He's got a lot of potential in my opinion. People say he's a moody sort. Sometimes you get that with strikers. It isn't always a bad thing. He didn't start today and our strikers drew a blank. If Bolton have someone who is scoring - keep them. Bolton, who haven't had a prolific goalscorer for years, cannot afford to lose someone who may score regularly.

Should try and get Anya, Who was on loan to Watford last season, Right winger, Very good.

Never mind, He signed permanently for them, Very good signing for them.

He won't be staying with Liverpool so I see no reason why he couldn't end up back here.

From a reasonableness perspective that involves logical thinking there is no bar to him coming back, but from a fortune telling prognosticatory view on a level reminiscent of the great Nostrodamus I'm telling you - he won't be back.

Somebody on here was asking about Darren Bent. He's on £80k per week, so you can forget him.

Moritz is having a trial at Celtic.

Nixon is hinting that we pulled out on Moritz partly so we could put something together for Spearing.

If true, I can only see that happening if Davies was to leave.
