I'd still have him in the team, over Muamba to be honest, but I wasn't impressed with him on the whole, just thought he did ok. His short passing was fine, no question there.

City didn't play with a midfield 5 for 90 minutes either.

I'd be shocked if Knight passed even that high, most of his "passes" were just "hoofs" up field. I'd almost be tempted to blame Jussi for all three goals, but won't for fear of arguement.

no come on let's have a debate

Never gave up, kept going until the end. Silly mistakes for their goals.

Only grumble for me was the booing of Aguero, why?

Weren't the City fans booing him being subbed off?

Or maybe it was our fans booing him for historic reasons, ie the red card for spitting at Taylor?

You must be taking the piss....Knight class - behave, he's poor as is the goalkeeper

All Knight does is hoof the ball up into the heavens, never seen him pass to a white shirt, his positional sense, awareness & reading of the game isn't great IMO for a prem centre half.

As for Jussi how many more points is he going to cost us before someone at the club realises he's finished - as he was 2 years ago, watch the 2nd goal, great strike from Barry but he went with his right hand to a shot in his left hand corner, awful technique.

I know its City and I know that they have quality players everywhere and I never expected owt before the the game but they never really got out of 2nd gear - 3-2 flattered us.

We played well for the 1st 15 mins (thought Cahill, Steinsson & Robinson played ok and NRC will be good when Holden's back) but after that even considering it was City I thought we were poor even thought the effort was there we still lack quality in our passing & movement.

Apart from Petrov though we had absolutely nothing going forward apart from the constant hoof to Davies - we actually look a decent team when we pass it around but always resort to a hit and hope hoof to Davies

Tactically today though I thought OC was a little naive, he should have had Muamba man marking Silva he had far to much space and he ran the show very easily....we can't match teams like City man for man so for me OC has to sharpen up tactically

From the TV it looked like booing for Tevez, if anything.

Good game, think City had to work for those points. Yes, at least one goal was a bit of a gift but they were errors which were forced upon by some pretty decent play by City. I think they're going to push their higher profile neighbours all the way for the title.

Our lot? Well, a Zat Knight mistake, Davo getting nowt off the ref, Muamba breaking up every single Bolton attack just by getting involved - is just a regular day at the office. We are a Lee, Holden and Tuncay away from a half-decent team.

was about to go into one then when i read Muamba breaking up every single

he was awful the amount of time he just stood there arched over watching city pass the ball around was fvcking me off

Knight played well today against about eleventy five bazillion pounds worth of attack. If you wanted a match for them, might I suggest you donate eleventy five bazillion of your own for a new centre half?

And Muamba? I thought he was class. So did my Utd supporting mate who normally slates us just to see my expression.

You must have watched a different game....I expected to lose today but the worst 3 players in white shirts IMO where Muamba, Knight and our 'so called' goalkeeper who is an absolute liability.

Yes he did but it'll not stop the Zat haters. . Both CB's worked there arses off as we were overun at fulback position time and time again.

In fact I thought the whole team worked really hard against a team that has Tevez on the bench. Considering we are a couple of new faces short we are looking good. The spirit is there. MOM to Petrov who, though tiring towards the end, had one his best games for me - seems a different player with a smile on his face.

Jussi has always been poor at crosses and distribution but I have always been swayed by the "but he's a great shot stopper argument". Only he's not stopping them now.

Well 74% is damn good in midfield against a side like City. And a superb pass out to Petrov for our first goal. Switched the play there perfectly.

Players are always going to give it away in frustrating positions but overall I thought he had a very good game.

And your thing about the third goal is wrong. Watch the replay, he stays up till the ball has left Dzeko's foot. Completely responsible for the first though, not sure what he was up to there!

I don't think he was after convincing you. In fact I'm pretty sure he doesn't give a flying f*ck about you. But if you really need me to explain it then I will.

A neutral fan expressed an opinion of one of our players that reflected my own.

I hope this goes some way to alleviating any fears you may have of Utd fans taking over your mind.
