No goals, no possession and no meaningful attacks in the second half. How can this be after last week? WBA much more determined than us.

I would also add that West Brom's movement when they got the ball was exceptional. Our players stood still and waited for the ball to be played to them.

Completely outplayed second half after a pretty good first 45.

Not all doom and gloom like some will say on here but we must improve.

Pathetic, and robbo not playing too badly. All 3 subs have no bloody impact. Back to the same disappointing sunday morning now.

Can't string 2 results together

Can't hold on for a point

Can't grind out results

Can't draw games

Can't show fight

Can't string 2 halves of football together.

Not looking good.

Still, players had a nice week off anyway - they had earned it. Back to ping pong on Monday.

Nope. Need to look a bit harder for that silver lining at the moment.

Here's one.

Ur sat infront of a monitor like me and not on a coach travelling back to Bolton having endured that second half.

Pretty sure that Owen Coyle's team talk at half time is not see you next week lads. So why did we go from genuine contenders in the first half to resigned to our fate in the second? Tactics? Players?

I'm not for a second believing that WBA are a better team than we are, i'd say we're fairly similar. Points today went to those who actually turned up and performed.

Think he should have asked the priest to pray again for us,shocking second half.
The voices in my head may not be real...but they have some great ideas!

No its good - Wigan and Blackburn are both very, very shit. We're in a scrap for 3rd bottom I hope.

Its looking ominous though - poor run of form from last season carried on into this, no fight, we could be cut adrift in a couple of weeks. I'd like to know what Gartside is thinking - how long does Coyle have to sort it? We need an organiser to be honest, someone to make us stronger and more resilient, need to get back to basics - if we concede 2 goals every time more than likely we'll lose, so how to sort that out?

We have an England International centre half, another £3 million pound centre half who isn't all bad, and bog standard premiership fullbacks (being generous to Robbo). We've also got some reasonable defensive centre midfield options, certainly enough to flood a midfield and cut chances out at source. Why we concede the goals we do at the pretty alarming rate we do I don't know. We're not just talking Colin Todd's relegation season defending, but 95-96, when we were a division 1 team playing in the premiership. Its terrible. I don't want to go back to 0-0s and 1-0 defeats but something has to be done with that defence - we have the players to change it...apart from maybe at left back and even then other sides in the league cope with the odd dodgy player in there team, I mean feck me we stayed up with Zat Knight as centre half!

Just on the coach waiting to set off. Woeful second half.

Fighting amongst each other at the end.

Fans or players?
Or Fans v Players?

Player v players I'd be vaguely happy about, but wish they showed it on the pitch...having said that Nige tried it after Swansea and it worked for one match!

Fans will be disappointing.

As in most games we get harried in possession give the ball away cheaply, players to slow to react how many times were we caught out on quick free kicks?. KD offering nothing at the moment we know he gets fouled but most refs don't give them possession lost again . a midfield that can't seem to control a game, forwards with limited movement no guile in the team. can anybody tell me why Tuncay was brought in? and why Petrov gets the nod ahead of him?. didn't think I'd find myself saying this but I think it's time for Coyle to go he's out of his depth. no point in winning the odd game 5-0 if you then lose the next 5.

Pathetic. Hosgson completely outthought Coyle at half time!

And we showed no bottle at all!

We are going down. Fed up of the ineptitude we show tactically.
