Re: DMB's Away.
Oh, dear. It was ManU and we really couldn't expect anything but a thrashing. We sound more than ever just like WestSpam's forum. Maybe BSA will come back to us then the full circle will have been completed. Roll on the next match where we have a chance.

Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.

Re: DMB's Away.
I thought we defended pretty well and despite offering nothing in attack I think if we played like that against lesser teams then we wont' do too badly.
Sod it we lost, they've spent £200m more on their players than we have. You get what you pay for.

Re: DMB's Away.
Bogdan hasn't half had a baptism of fire in the Premier League, hope he'll keep his place for a few weeks yet and especially next week. Don't doubt it for a second that he'll be first place come next season with Jussi hopefully a very decent back up.
Looking forward to the scousers next week, NGog should be fired up and be on song and if we keep Gerrard and Bellamy quite especially should hopefully earn a draw and could even nick all three..plus its the same day as my 21st so I won't be remembering a whole lot of the day good or bad

Certainly could be. His ability to draw a foul made it a useful option once upon a time.Shame the refs have long since stopped tossing a coin to decide who gets the freekick when KD and his marker land in a heap.TANGODANCER wrote:Is that an extract from The Kevin Davies Story?Ianmooreslovechild wrote:you cant expect either to do much with balls hoofed at them from the edge of our area when there's no one up to support them.

Quick big up to the lads and lasses that went to the match. At 3 nil down, the only thing you could hear on the radio was our fans singing.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Quite so,and when we play football to get the ball forward we actually do quite decently.Ianmooreslovechild wrote:Certainly could be. That should, effectively get through somewhere. N'gog got blatantly pulled to the ground a couple of times going for bazooka balls and, of course, got nothing.

Re: DMB's Away.
By this seasons low standard that was a pretty decent performance for my money..
We looked more organised and looked like we were trying and battling.. All noticeably absent in earlier anaemic losses..
We just lacked a cutting edge and a bit of guile and magic..
Sadly that leaves me with the uneasy feeling that time might be up because we just aren't good enough... whoever the manager is..
The days of punching above our weight may just be over..

Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham

Re: DMB's Away.
Shows the difference in class, Man United were poor today and gifted the ball to us multiple times during the game and we were unable to take advantage..

Re: DMB's Away.
Just back from the game. Thought it was an OK performance given our current circumstances.
Defence coped well, I know they conceded 3, but it would've been far more if Robinson & Boyata had played. Wheater seemed to do well in place of Cahill.
M.Davies was immense, seemed happy to take on the whole Utd midfield, even put in some good tackles. NRC & Muamba kept us solid. Eagles... not very impressed, worst culprit for giving the ball back to Utd.
And... Pratley.... WTF? Absolutely abysmal, how he keeps getting picked is beyond me, offers NOTHING to our team, just a liability. Had an open goal at the end and managed to miss.

Re: DMB's Away.
think im with norm
happy with how we performed, but we keep getting bummed. We're the only team who cant take points off the top 6 or so teams,.and this season we havent shown enough against the rest yet.
We've got the hard luck stories with injuries and we are just about to sell our best player. See how we do next week, and the one after, but another couple of surenders at the reebok and the writings on the wall. Like the writings on the wall.
What is unreal is how much better we looked than steve keans blackburn - and they are acceleratingaway from us. Bit gutting.

its fecking subbing muamba for someone totally different , not even the same kinda player and nowhere near good enough.
it wrecks the game.
if he were subbing on reocoker for muamba or viceversa , fair enough.. but theyre totally both first xi , plan A players. he shouldnt even be thinking about doing it.
if he's attempting to megson it (saving him to eek them thru a number of games with the idea of getting a few points and no hammerings on a barebones squad, allardyce was pretty awesome at that) he's doing that wrong. do that kinda shit with the wingers (we need two good wingers) , or the fullbacks or summat, dont fecking sub the best breakdown player we've got.
prozone or not , you can see it a mile off.
feck.

Re: DMB's Away.
Thought we did OK and against worst opposition we might have got something. The full backs at least would have ventured forward a bit more but because United are so quick on the break they were a little more cautious. Still I think we can we get something from the next two games, I'd happily take a point but if we could steal three we could just make it.
My first ever trip to Old Trafford today and I was impressed with the stadium. Not so much with the atmosphere, it really is true what they say. Even when leaving the ground there wasn't that buzz around with a 3-0 victory. Strange stuff.

Re: DMB's Away.
Most has been said already .. Happy enough with the performance.. The sooner Ream comes in the better.. He would be better than knight even if he had one leg. We wouldn't be half as bad with him out of the team.

am Robinson's fiercest critic ... but if he had received even half the pasting Ricketts took yesterday there'd e a few on here drawing our attention to it.

I'd just like to draw attention to it.

But Ricketts took a pasting at Man U. Robbo was last seen getting a pasting at Macclesfield.
