Still in shock, can't believe what happened. I thought it was a routine injury up until some bloke next to me said 'he is having his chest pumped' and I was like shit, this can't be good.

Obviously the right thing to call off the game and the Villa one, met some great Spurs fans who took us into 'The pride of Tottenham' pub where you could see everyone was united in wishing the best for Fab.

I've only posted here a few times (i'm not quick enough for some of you lot  ) but I'm a pretty recurrent lurker and read the boards a couple of times a week. Just got back to Bolton after a weekend away with my fella - which pretty much ended at 6.15 Last night. When I got the call from my dad, I was just sat shaking in shock and horror and for the first time since I was a kid I prayed to God that he would come through this. I like everyone else am staggered at the reaction of other fans in this country and around the world. Surely he has to come through this with absolutely everyone behind him and his poor family. This can't happen

Let's just keep prayin eh?

All the best to Fabrice Muamba and family at this awful time from the Glasgow Rangers family. Football troubles pale in comparison to what this young fella is going through. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Rangers fan.

Just so shocked at this - I aint in the least bit religious but Ive prayed for Muamba numerous times since I first heard about this yesterday. Come on Fabrice.

It is also wonderful to see and hear all the supportive messages from Spurs fans and fans of other football clubs. Makes you realise that we do live in a wonderful world full of decent people, and there is a lot to be happy about.

Again, come on Fabrice.

Come on Fab. you can do it!
I can't wait to see you walk out onto the Reebok pitch to the most deafening cheers you will ever hear.

Many thanks to the football fans from all around the UK & indeed the world for taking the time to come on here & leave your messages of support, and a special thanks to the Spurs fans who showed such class & dignity as the horrific events unfolded at the match yesterday.

Just caught the end of a SSN piece with Coyle and PG

It looked quite upbeat, tbh

Hoping it was recently filmed

Anybody catch it?

Aye.
It didn't offer anything new; they just reiterated what been said already. Stable/critical, under sedation for at least 24 hours thoughts and prayers for his family. They're staying down there with him for the time being.

Coyle looked pretty stressed though; I think he's still wearing the same clothes he had on for the game yesterday.

Just caught it. PG seemed more down than Coyle, he was choking back the tears at the end.

Owen seemed to hint there was a chance of recovery, then stopped himself. Let's hope so.

Can't find anything. very concerned by the news that it took two hours to get his heart working. The connotations of that are bad. Stay positive and I suggest dont try to read up on it.

They are when when you're not getting CPR.....

We can but hope the CPR and treatment in that period kept the oxygen flowing enough.....

Shakers fan here, noticed this thread when going through the Bury forums. Along with the rest of Bury Football Club, I'm desperately hoping Muamba pulls through.
