Think he will stay until end of season. Might as well start afresh next campaign

hasn't this idea been statistically analysed on here - and shown to be, at best, unclear.... or am I mis-remembering summat?jonnycooper wrote:Still here! Apparently. I believe since he left he entered the Twilight zone.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Mjallby resigned in September 2015, seven months after we turned to ratshit.thebish wrote:hasn't this idea been statistically analysed on here - and shown to be, at best, unclear.... or am I mis-remembering summat?jonnycooper wrote:Still here! Although we were good for a bit when he (and Lennon) first came, we were shit for longer.
Re: Lennon out!
Whoever did the analysis had it pretty close, about 10 games after he left. We've barely won a point since

Re: Lennon out!
Maybe Mjallby could have told Lennon to make his subs earlier or not to bring Dobbie on
Basic advice but Lennon is lost without it.

Re: Lennon out!
In a Twitter conversation Iles has stated plainly that it would cost £650k to sack Lennon now (12months salary), but considerably less if we are relegated. I suspect given the financial situation and the unlikelihood now of anyone else keeping us up, that Lennon will be 'given a chance under the new owners'.
Which means certain relegation. Can't say I blame them, let's hope they allow at least a striker loan in though to give him that chance though.
Of course this is all moot if they fail the FL exam this week, which is about 50-50 in my considered opinion (don't believe anyone, haven't got a clue).

Re: Lennon out!
Lennon in the BN.
I certainly didn't see the club being in this position. When I took the job on, it was a case of: 'Keep us up and we will have a go at it next season.' We kept them up comfortably but the rest didn't materialise; I have had to cut, cut, cut the wage bill, sell players and not spend a penny. It does curb your enthusiasm because it wasn't how I expected the job to go.
I knew about the debt. I wish I had been told that the money coming in would stop. If I had known about the situation with the owner I would have had serious reservations about taking it on.
I knew there was a big debt but I knew it was the owner's debt and he was prepared to write it off. What I didn't know was that I wasn't going to be given the chance to invest in players and the squad, as I wanted to. And build, rather than have to demolish; that's all I have done – 19 players went out the door last summer. We cleared about £10m from the wage bill as well as bringing in £2.5m in fees.
There have been experiences that I don't really like. I wouldn't want other managers to experience a lot of those things.
I'm enjoying the challenge – that in itself is a motivation. And if we keep the team in this league, what a great achievement. If we stay up, people will appreciate all that a lot more than if we go down. That's the black and white of football.
I want the chance to rebuild because I haven't had a chance to build anything.
