Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm clearly going to have to adjust the amount of time on the pot...

It appears as though Holding might now have made it into the England under 21 squad. Whilst that is great news for him and all those involved in the Academy set-up, the most important thing for the club right now is that it probably also means that it adds a bit to his transfer value.

Not arsed about the bid, but did anyone else know that he didn't play because the manager was told not to pick him?

Was widely reported as such on the day, in the press.Lord Kangana wrote:http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/footbal ... 48101.html

Phillips said exactly that in his post match interview.Lord Kangana wrote:http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/footbal ... 48101.html

Ah well, need to pay more attention. I'm surprised more wasn't made of it on here. Lads on his way, somewhere.

Was that the one we had to send back because we couldn't afford his pre-match lunch or something ?Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Don't forget that Aussie lad Brattan

There has been a fair bit of discussion. Think it is a given he's off. Three premiership teams in for him apparently ans Arsenal already had a bid knocked back, but no doubt someone will hit the magic target soon.Lord Kangana wrote:Ah well, need to pay more attention. Nice that there's 3 of them, plus Celtic from the Pub League having a look. We might just get a bit of an auction .... not that I'm expecting a raft but any decent figure could be useful.

Reminder that our only centre-backs then would be Dorian Dervite and Alex Finney.

Holding is now in the u21 squad. Surely that's inflated the price?

Is it probably for the best that we just get used to the idea of being shit now to avoid disappointment later?

Never give up! The Macron would be empty if we were all realists.

Half-empty if we were pessimists, half-full if we were optimists...Lord Kangana wrote:Never give up! The Macron would be empty if we were all realists.
