James Wilson is apparently going to be available for loan. He was speculated about in the bn. We could more than likely offer him game time.

You see .... him, or some guy from Palace who was lent to Cambridge last year. Let me think.jaffka wrote:James Wilson is apparently going to be available for loan. He was speculated about in the bn. We could more than likely offer him game time.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

He'd be perfect but I suspect some lower Prem team Norwich or Stoke say, will end up with his servicesjaffka wrote:James Wilson is apparently going to be available for loan. He was speculated about in the bn. We could more than likely offer him game time.

15+ clubs are in for him including the likes of Derby.
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
They will but the loaning club will want an assurance of game time.

How would people feel about James Wilson? Couldn't ever bring myself to cheer a current united player

Well I was happy not hoping Amos would concede goals last year, so probably fine, I reckon.
Jeez. Means he'd have to do well mind, if he was shite he'd be that dirty red bastard.

You don't.CrazyHorse wrote:
How do you sign a free agent on loan?
Like Ben Amos last season? I think folk would soon get over their antipathy if the boy scored goals.jetsetwilly wrote:How would people feel about James Wilson? Couldn't ever bring myself to cheer a current united player

If someone comes in and does well for us, I couldn't care less where they came from.
Not entirely sure Wilson is the answer mind. But we probably aren't in a position to be picky. And I suspect we'll be on a long list for anyone.

I'd be quite happy to welcome Wilson, though I can't see it happening unles Utd pay all his wages and forgo a loan fee. I remember cheering the likes of Dunne, Morgan, Kidd, Gowling, all exUtd who did a great job for us.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
We are going to try and get Wilson. Derby are believed to be the favourites but which club can offer game time.
Re: If carlsberg did transfer threads.....This would be it!
Play Offs become realistic if we snag Wilson on loan. YHIHF

BN, if the money is right, Nolan can come back to us.

Problem being we can only sign him for 90 days and Man Utd want an instant recall option. Which would I'm assuming mean no longer deal possible because a half season loan in January does not have a recall option.Dr Hotdog wrote:Play Offs become realistic if we snag Wilson on loan. YHIHF
So he'd be here 3 months at best.

Unless they sign a striker in January.BWFC_Insane wrote:Problem being we can only sign him for 90 days and Man Utd want an instant recall option. Before anyone asks no I've not been drinking !....If we get Nolan & a decent striker Lafferty, Wilson etc...we will have a decent chance of going up automatically.
The club needs to find some money from somewhere to fund these (if the players are interested in coming here ?) and have this last go at trying to get up before the parachute payments stop - the club would be a much more attractive proposition to potential new investors if we where challenging for promotion.
