Allardyce constantly was saying we needed new players. Nobody complained then....LeverEnd wrote:DSB, that's exactly what we need. Get rid of DF now before someone else snaps him up!
And no BWFCI, you know perfectly well that no-one is saying that, You are deliberately missing the point which is that while working on the very necessary recruitment of forwards, he should be trying to boost the confidence of those that will be playing in the early games of the season.
Anyway, bring on the game, and let's hope the strikers are trying to prove a point, play brilliantly and it was all genius mind games from The Dougster.

If you think think the BSA and Dougie regimes are in the least bit comparable, you truly are Insane!

Yes you can. It's like saying the UN can police the world, but Uganda can f*ck right off..BWFC_Insane wrote:But it's either right or wrong. Perfectly acceptable. Another example, My wife (who's a head teacher) can privately tutor your kids, but my border collie (with no teaching qualifications whatsoever) should not.

This fella is available on a free (although like Hall would be subject to tribunal.) Could give him a go, he's earned a few rave reviews throughout the closed season: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Max_Clayton" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Aye but we are talking two people in the same role. A manager saying he needs new players is either a bad idea or it isn't.Lost Leopard Spot wrote:Yes you can. Oh, so that's one in and one out used up already then?! Freedman will have to get up a little earlier if he thinks he's going pull the wool over my eyes.thebish wrote:according to the BN - Liam Fontaine (on trial - formerly of Bristol City and Yeovil Town) has left the building...

... just another vacancy Bruce. Must be 10 now.
I'm glad he got his recruitment done early, whilst bidding his time "being patient" at one & the same time. Thank goodness he already knows his January list.

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

Before Sam Vokes went to Burnley he had 6 in 49 games. Sometimes you have to take a chanceBWFC_Insane wrote:Looking at that wiki link, 5ft9 and has scored 9 in 74. Insano - wrt the lack of striker just wonder why we let Sordell go for a pittance/ loss, given we didn't have a replacement in place ? surely he would have been an option to keep and try, since his homesickness seems to have been bullshittery

Clearly it isn't up to DF is it? He doesn't control the club finances.Bruce Rioja wrote:Coupled withbobo the clown wrote:... just another vacancy Bruce. Must be 10 now.

No doubt you have a quote from Marvin to support that statement - only one I saw was just before he left, saying that he had never said he was homesick.thebish wrote:StaffsTrotter wrote:

IMO Sordell is better and with more potential than either of our current 2. Game of opinions and all that.

Because Sordell had his chances here and never looked to be worth anything at all. We had a cash offer and at the time were looking to fund a move for Juke.StaffsTrotter wrote:ha.
